big shout out to Deussen Engines!!!!!

So I went to my dealers to day to get my service book stamped and up to date. They are very good with me doing most of the work. They also uploaded any upgrades including an upgrade to the Evo 3 software.
Prior to them doing this I was a bit nervous that it might FUBAR the engine tune. However, I returned the bike to the original tune from the Deussen Upgrade, they updated the factory stuff, and then I reloaded the tune. A Simple process and im sure it sounds even crisper now than before ... which is going some!

Thanks to Daniel for his quick responses and guidance.

Very nice, I will go to the dealer to get my service done during this winter. Did you put the Track Evo 3 before the Duessen upgrade?, I was just thinking if the Evo was really needed when you have the tuning as that would affect the throttle response I assume. My dealer told me that they had some issues with the combination on the -22/23s?

My bike is a 22 with the 23 electronics upgrade. the factory upgrade was done at the dealer at first service, they also then added the evo 3.
I did then mess about with a woolich tune but it was peeing in the wind and no one was really sure where it was at.

ive now got a Deussen tune. the whole process with this was seamless in both adding it to the bike, and any return to std before service and electronics updates, then re adding the Deussen tune to the bike.

Evo 3 is about the traction and slide etc strategy particularly with slick tyres.

Of course anything that is trying to stop you getting spat off the bike will restrict/control the throttle opening..........

Okej so we have the same bike. Sounds great. I will take contact to Daniel to arrange a proper tune. Did you install it yourself or at the dealer?, guess you need some gadgets to get it in.

If you go down the Deussen tune he will send you all that’s required as long as you have a lap top and can follow instructions
Simples!

Do you have a clearer picture

Dyno Jan 2024.jpg
of the dyno chart you can post again, this way we can see where the changes were in compared to the deussen tune.
Here you go!

The issue with dyno sheets that don’t include all the pertinent data like the software correction method and factor, atmospheric data, etc. are always suspect to me…

What in the world would I gain by posting a fake dyno sheet? That is an actual shop here in Miami that anyone can make an appointment and visit and it is currently producing some of the fastest bmw’s in the USA.
Anyhow, you are focusing on the wrong item, the 219 hp is irrelevant, that can vary from dyno to dyno, the focus should be the power curve correction from factory.
Theses forums are too funny, the minute someone post something better than what most here have, the hate begins!! Perhaps is the cold weather where some of you live. 🤦🏽‍♂️🤣

Sorry for your misunderstanding. I wouldn’t think YOU would fudge the data, but a “tuner” most definitely would. The correction factor used will definitely increase or decrease the numbers regardless.

Personally, your numbers mean squat to me.

LOL I’d argue Craig’s or Karl’s properly setup race bikes are better than any street bike with a tune and an exhaust. I don’t see them getting hated on for it.

Yeah, but this is a “new” tuner directly comparing to the known most knowledgeable late model Ducati tuner. Just take these tuner dyno sheets with no supporting data a bit suspect.

I have the DynoJet software, so if I had the original run file, I could change the outcome with a couple of key strokes.

Most post was meant as a reply to this.

I agree with what you’re saying. Besides, I never got on a Ducati and thought it needed more power outside of removing the OEM noise and emission constrained stock tune. Let’s say that’s a legit number, call it 220 HP at the rear tire, I’d say that’s just about the bleeding edge of reliability for an otherwise stock engine.

There was some dude here that bought a legit RS bike and posted pics with the fairings off but never posted anything else.

The RS bikes are very obviously track only and there's so many part required to make that leap. I really wish Ducati didn't paywall that stuff as hard as they do.

But, not having a WSBK spec subframe isn't the thing that's slowing me down. 😆

Not slowing any of the rest of us down either. lol

One of the guys in our group has the former Baz bike from HSBK.
