2024 V4R sprocket ratios

So not everyone is experiencing this ... numerous changes on track for different tracks no issues, ( just recalibrate each time like you do for tyres)

the only time I have seen the drive adaptive reset done was with an ECU change where the new ECU had to learn the gear ratios....

ok. i guess i'll have to just to give this a shot then

Have you actually changed a sprocket yet? Seen the result had a problem?

Not yet. I like to know things before I run into it. The bike is in the built right now. Going into the swing arm area soon, so it'll be done then. You have a R? What ratio did you start out with?

Alright. I took the bike on a small test ride. I was able to run a tire calibration.
Nothing seems to be odd besides that the quickshifter up/down does not work and I have 2 warning lights on. The 'mild' one is probably triggered by missing headlights. The other...
Any advice?

Merely not having the headlight plugged in won't cause an error code. Is the air temp sensor still plugged in?

What are the error codes? It's hard to shotgun guesses at someone else's bike.

I dropped one tooth in the front, did tire calibration and reset the drive adaptive values and have no errors and the DQS works perfectly.

I'd focus on whatever the errors are before diving too deep into the DQS.

I don't have a error reader yet.
Did you do the drive adaptive reset yourself? Did you do that right after changing sprockets, so before riding it? That would explain why you did not go into errors and dqs issues.

I did the drive adaptive reset myself. OBDStar iScan Ducati...knock off Texa Navigator...which is the OEM for Ducati DDS.

The procedure in a Ducati TSB is to do the calibration, then the reset, which is exactly what I did.

To be clear, I changed the front sprocket and reset the tire calibration to default. I then rode the bike without using the quick shift function to a spot where I could do the tire calibration.

After it was completed, I rode it back to my garage without using the QS.

I then did the drive adaptive reset.

Diagnostics done, drive adaptive reset done. Error codes on the dqs.
Turns out that the dqs failure did not come due to sprocket ratio, nor to other changes. A pin in a sensor connector got pushed in. Ducati warranty :) Still gotta make a test ride.
BTW... does anyone know the allen key size of the swing arm pivot adjuster bolt?
