2025 Panigale New Owner Impression

Great news! As compensation, I'd ask for a significant discount on the exhaust and (most important)...a free copy of the service manual for this bike. The fairings, etc., are not intuitively easy to remoce and torque specs are always welcome. OK...I'm just kidding. Or maybe I'm not. Would really like to get hands on the service manual. :)

I haven't come across a 2025 Panigale service manual. Ducati now distributes the workshop manuals by model year. So you'd buy the workshop manuals for all of the models for the 2025 model year to get the one you want.

Hello guys we got the new bike 2 months ago, is better on any point! We love it ! Exhaust is in stock ask for better price , thanks

It's my understanding that it's the mapping that may cause warranty isues...not the part itself, which is a Ducati part. I think they're still trying to sort out the mapping issue.

UPDATE: I finally picked up the bike at Pro Italia, Jan 11, 2025 (Saturday) and was able to inspect the melted rear fuel line and rear wheel sensor wire. See pics. So according to the technicians, the fuel line and speed sensor wire are both routed in front of the headers, which where the melt point was. They were instructed by Ducati to put extra heat shielding around them. They were also asked by Ducati to run a bunch of tests on Ducati’s behalf, however, the dealer really wanted to close up the bike so they could get it back to me, so I don’t think they did them.

Also, a rep from Ducati North America has been in ongoing contact with me, and since he opened the door to 'compensation,' we are negotiating what that is. What is certain is there will be an additional extended warranty, and also asked for a slip on exhaust, or a D-Air Ducati Corsa race suit. Let's see what they do.

But, now the bike is broken in, I can tell you that it's already so fast, so I can't imagine what extra HPs and/or weight savings would feel like with a race exhaust. Since the LA fires started, the mountains and canyons are all closed, I can’t really tell you about the sport handling performance, but, on the highway, I blipped up to 165 MPH (on a closed course) without making much effort, and it was still pulling. The braking is excellent, and I have the rear and front brake connected setting on, which makes braking so much more powerful, and confidence inspiring. I can't wait to push it on a track or canyon road. It feels light and maneuverable. Wish it sounded better, but once Ducati has its official map, I'll get the factory Akra slip on, instead of an aftermarket one, so I don't risk warranty breach.

So far 3 known failures out of 592 effected units, one of which was in the US, so that'd be you.

They mention the fix (a new heat shield) has been implemented in production since 1/10/25.
