Personally, I love the bike so far but hate the seat...I'm short and I have problems operating the kickstand and launching the bike because of the seat height and shape. It rises slightly towards the front and is too wide and square at the front of the seat which spreads my legs a bit when putting my feet down

That’s the only map that they have I guess. Just so you know, they do a cat delete with the race slip-on so it becomes a straight pipe. Just no replacement of the headers. It’s 5hp boost instead of the 8hp boost from the full race exhaust. But the weight savings are significant for both, which may be the most useful part of having a race exhaust.

Thanks! I will. I went with UP Map since I talked to a racer friend of mine about it, and he recommended them since their maps are less aggressive and tend not to hurt engines, unlike BT Tune. I am hopeful I'll get a map that smooths out low RPM jerkiness in 1st and 2nd. If up map can’t do it, I’ll contact Dan.

UPMAP doesnt even show a map for the akra slip on.

What map did you use?

If you used the akra race map, that is the reason for the jearky idle.

That map is for the long exhaust.

I know because i made the same mistake with the 23 v4

Hey bro, yeah, I noticed that too, but the dealer said that Ducati doesn’t have a map yet for their exhausts. It was actually the dealer who put the UpMap on and said they had done this before with no issues. I might switch to a different map with BT tune or DAN. I’m hesitant to get the Ducati map because Ducati will then contact the Department of motor vehicles in California and say that my bike is no longer street operable. The only way to get the Ducati map is through Ducati.
 
It Is so weird Ducati doest have a map for their own exhaust

Ducati omaha even says they cant sell out of State, because they can only map in their dealer shop.


When up map has a specific map for the akra slip on, or the arrow slip on, is when i will pull the trigger.
