Just wondering? I switched to 14t front sprocket, its good but 2nd gear is still to tall for must tight corners... Anyone know if its possible to fit a 40 or 41 tooth rear sprocket without replacing stock chain. As I stated above, I have installed a 14t front sprocket.

For what its worth I only changed rear to a 40 and it required a new chain. However, I have no clue what changing the front sprocket to a smaller one would do for you with chain length, nor would I have any idea why anyone would want to change both sprockets. What exactly is it you're attempting to acheive by doing both instead of just the rear one?

Anxious to hear final results of your project here so please let us know how it works out with chain.

You should be fine on the standard chain . I have run a 15/41 on the standard length chain before it was tight but OK.

Moving up to a 40t rear will work if you're already down one in the front. This will essentially allow you to return to stock wheelbase with similar gearing difference to that which a 15/43 setup would provide. Anything beyond 40 here may be too tight to use with the stock chain.
