So here it is without the seat. Only area where you can see the tank is if you get underneath it and look up you can see the red of the gas tank. Ill be vinyl wrapping the tank to protect it from any rub from the fiberglass, so ill end up covering up all the red so it will blend in with the the plastic trim.

Quick update, had to pump the brakes for March, but we'll be going all out again in a week or two. Nothing exciting yet just some basic goodies i got in the meantime: Corsa screen, KN race filter, Shorai Li Ion battery.

Head over to the mechanical page and see my How to on the FGRT rebuild. Since i bought it used i did new bushings, seals and oil and sprung it for my weight, and set the oil level to what Ohlins recommended rather than the manual says to go with. Switched over to SKF seals (yes the stock NOK seals have low friction coatings as well, but I drink the SKF koolaid).

Boo me! sorry guys i have been missing for a while I'm blaming work again (yeah lousy excuse I know). BUT I am back and hopefully with some consistent updates this time. So what I have been hiding from you is below. (I typed this all up on my computer and then realized i have to go on Tapatalk to upload photos so check the next post for photos, yeah its been that long since i posted, sorry!)

Ducati Omaha who sponsors this page got me squared away with the OE race connectors, Coolant overflow/rad shroud plastic that was cracked on my bike, AND an the ABS delete module that removes the whole pump without any error messages. Theyre one of the only guys to stock this and the cheapest ive found. While were on the topic of deleting, Ill also be deleting the Evap canister while im in the area.

I got the Servo buddy from Woodcraft and the steering damper connector for aftermarket clip ons.

Cool Titanium pin for my brembo from a company in Japan, while I was on that site (WeBike) I also grabbed The Galespeed VRC master cylinder. (the matching clutch MC i got from Belissimoto) The VRC offers an adjustable range in .25mm increments. Those who are familiar with adjustable leverage ratios you usually see 2 settings from brembo, 3 settings from accosato. The Galespeed however has 9 different possible settings. Got the Titanium gold lever pins for them as well.

The RK UWR chain is their top of the line chain that is used in Moto2 rated for about 1200 miles of track use. This is their lowest friction chain and is on the lighter end of their o/x/(a,b,c, etc!!) ring chains.

One of my favorite pieces, over priced but as you can see I am a sucker for MotoGP so i shelled it out. The rear master cylinder i stumbled upon from Moto2 chassis manufacturer Suter. Marc Marquez rode a Suter bike in Moto2 for those who dont know the company. This is a brembo MC with the Suter branding on it, another cool piece on this bike with some racing heritage behind it.

PS this build will start to get "rolling" tomorrow

You won't need the servo buddy, just pull the cable and motor and it won't throw a dash message. Are you going to pull the flap out and get the side hole welded?

nice bike :)

Lol its funny you say that because i said the same thing to my buddy and he got an code thrown. Seems like ive been reading on the forums its 50/50 some people get a code some people dont, i got it just for piece of mind.

Idk if ill remove the whole flap, but when i go to install it i guess ill decide. My main goal is too keep that flap from having any issues getting stuck, my buddy had that issue from a broken spring and it was annoying. Now its just something we do on all our bikes to keep from happening again.

I have done my own 2 x 899's a 959 and 1199 without any trouble. Best thing for the flap is get rid of it and motor completely it's easy to pull that section and get someone to cut all that sh*t off and weld the hole up.

Thats some good advice ill end up doing that then! Sounds like that will give me the lowest chance of having it be an issue as well
