After The Up-Map

Not many people have mentioned persisting white smoke.

I think its fair to say that those that had smokers, on the whole reported a drastic improvement after their 600mile service.

Having said that, an occasional puff of black smoke is common when the bike has been left sitting for 2-3 weeks, or if it has only been previously started and not ridden - just revved to show off a bit

Exactly how mine is too.

WOW

I got to take the bike on some twisty bits yesterday for the first time after the up-map. This bike is simply incredible. I have ridden some fairly powerful bikes in the past(R1/1000RR/1098) but this beautiful machine took me for a ride yesterday.

It is amazing coming out aof a turn, laying on the fuel and the front end gets light while the traction control light catches your attention.

The bike's fueling is better after the up-map and the starting is quick and easy. No smoke at all.

Sheesh. I don't know if I am worthy but I thought I would share.

:)

I got the ecu update today and now my right signals don't work. They come and go. Dealer going to call big D to see what to do. The bike is improved in power delivery and midrange acceleration.

Well I bought my 1199S last May, it was one of the last orders in the first batch to be delivered.

I have the full Termi system, and have just come back from my dealer after putting the new updated race evo upmap on.....

What can I say.... This thing just keeps getting better and better... The throttle response is sharper and better and the revs are so much smoother especially at lower revs, and yes it is a lot quicker... How anyone can say they can't ride this quicker than a S1000 is beyond me... Even top end is quicker than pre updated map.

Does anyone know if the new update would have effected the quick shifter response? As this too seems smoother and quicker, although that could be physiological....?

all sounds good , gonna get mine fettled shortly can't wait , also runnin full system with BMC

I have the same issue, dash ECU is shot. Dealer will order a new one upon request, don't let them replace the switch sensor cause it doesn't fix jack .....

Yes right side only and the mileage/trip display would freeze up. It baffled me at first until i started searching the threads here and EuroCycles service tech confirmed it. They attempted to replace it few days ago but DNA sent them a non-abs dash so ECU didn't accept it, oops.
