The products quality is second to none. Another key feature people seem to forget is that it is a TITANIUM system. Not stainless like the Termi. This system is no different than the other evolution systems.

While true, I'm still at a loss. I purchased a full EVO for a CBR1000RR for 1900$. BUT when you compare it to something similar like the RC8R, it's dead on lol ($4500).

I agree completely. Im waiting for the Austin Racing system because I believe that system will have the swagger to go along with this bike.

+1. Spot on,I love that word swagger. The pani has got it by the bucket load. The Akras were the dream fit for me, i"m well disappointed. Just too much like stock look. Austin Racing will save the day i"m sure.

Have a thought for us poor .......s in the UK. $4600 in the US hey? I bet you it will be a similar figure in the UK in £s which will equate to $7K+. Get this, the full Akra system in the US for the 1198 can be had for $3100 in the UK it costs £2900 thats $4640. I"ve seen it hundreds of times over the years. The most unbelievable thing is seeing a car thats built in the UK selling for £20K then seeing that same car costing $20k in the USA. At a time not too long ago when there was $2 to a pound thats half price. Thats politics for ya:mad: I had a hunch the Akra system would be about 4K, approx twice the price of the Termis, especially being Ti,history repeating itself. Never mind. Even if Akra bring out slip-ons,they wont be goin on my bike. Saying that,i"m looking forward to seeing some power figures,Akras have always performed very well and the quality is beyond reproach. Lets see what ya got AR;)

Very true that is the price for the evolution full titanium so yes it will be more expensive, and I'm sure they will have the stainless soon but still that is pretty steep

I agree with all the comments "too Stock" must say am dissapointed, :(. Dont see many buyers for these.
Await AR design but looks like good old Termi's for me!!!

Everyone that says " too much like stock" - like the stock exhaust or Termis? Because the Termis look stock with a sticker. If AR wasn't in the works, I would get these in a heartbeat. We were all looking for Ti, and complaining about the Termi welds. I am sure these at least match the Termis HP, and maybe surpass or match even the mysterious R exhaust.

A consideration for those racing and need catch all pans, doesn't look like there's any room to fit one. Same issue the stock, non-Termi cans have. If that's the case, that's a pretty big oversight. I know Rich has catch all pan options for their system.

Love it !!!!!! Looks slightly better than my Termis...I'm sure HP figures will be the same...

Uk price has been released at £3300 but guessing it will drop slightly and there's always some discounts to be had.

If I can do a deal under 3k and the figures are good i'll probably pick one up.

Funny you say that...if its based on material, why is my buddy's 2009 Chevy Corvette Z06 Titanium Exhaust (from Akra) less expensive than a 2 foot length Titanium exhaust for our Duc's???

I agree - exact same numbers as Termi's full system. All in all I am happy I have the full system, and bought an 1199 Tricolore. I am canceling the 1199R order I had.

Because they can. Once AR's is out, and maybe others, the price will drop. You think about it, this is probably the first can ever that is form fitted to the body work of a bike. Termi set the standard with "exhausts will be expensive for this bike", Akro just added 500 beucause they usually charge more, plus all titanium, along with CF. There is no mistaking it is a beautiful pipe. AR's may end up being tuffer looikng, but probably not as elagant.
