i have a 2007 ss800 and i love it except it is hard to ride when you don't get the power that you are used to. if you plan to commute or just go for a quick ride or errand, it's fine. but during your normal street riding, it's hard to get used to the power not being there. it's a great second bike for a friend to ride or hop on from time to time like if your 1199 is in the shop.
