Looks awesome man.
Sorry they sent the wrong stuff. Their service is pretty good im sure they will
get you sorted.

I have V4R carbon street fairings on my 19 V4s (from Carbonvani).

Fiting everything was just bolt on. Only one difference actually is one mounting point that OEM fairing attach to a pin coming down the lower part of the frame and on the v4R it attach to a pin perpendicularly. They provided an adaptor for that. Just unbolt this pin from frame and put the adaptor (one on each side).

Let me know if you need more information on my case and if you want to chat over what you have.

Ah then this is probably what it is. I'd love to see a photo of this if you have a chance to share.

I hope the whole lockdown/covid-19 stuff doesn't cause another 3 months just for this front fairing though. Which is what I'm fearing. I've still got to get the parts painted to match the Corse finish afterwards!

I circled in red on you photo the pin that I’m referring to:

I’m my case I removed this pin (for what I remember it is an Allen head inside) and bolted the adaptor on the place. It’s a “L” shaped adaptor with the pin relocated and oriented to the side of the bike. See my photo, this is the right side facing forward, with my phone just where the fairing ends.

Arrow 1 shows where the adaptor bolt to the frame (the place where I removed the OEM pin).

Arrow 2 show the new pin attached to the fairing. It slides from left to right on this perspective. I included a rubber grommet on the fairing hole (you cannot see on the pic).

Let me know if this is what you were looking for

Ah okay. I just found a link with that showing the adapter. I just ordered the bracket. Thanks!

The front street fairing came in today! Just thought I would attach both fairings to show difference between the street vs race and their mounting points and such.

I'm just missing the V4R mounting brackets which has taken a while to order, so bare with me as I wait on that before I can really put this together.

I didn't want to spend too much time installing the carbon fairings, especially removing both sides since they've got to get painted anyways, but I did want to make sure all the parts fit properly. And needless to say, the windscreen that I got for the V4R fairing, was just a taller V4S windscreen, so having ordered it months back, definitely not going to be able to return that, so I just installed it to the stock fairing piece in the meantime. Also you can see how much wider the fairing is just from the front itself compared to where the stock V4S fairing sits.

All that's left is buying the rubber bits to mount these and a new windscreen. And of course, paint. Who knows how long that'll take though with the way the current climate is.

There will be some exposed carbon on the fairings after painting. Will go over this with my guy tomorrow when we talk about the overall scheme. Winglets are going to be left fully bare.

so exciting. Do u know what I love: on the Speciale there is a bit of a black boarder cut out on the side fairings where it opens up for the radiator and it makes the side profile look so much more aggressive (not that the new fairings don’t do the trick:

Nah, I probably won't be doing that since the bottom fairing will be the same Corse fairings and with the bottom already clearbra'd, I don't intend to make the bottom carbon. So that's not in the cards. Will want to keep the Corse finish overall, but will see what I can do to show off a bit of the carbon.

I love the corse look. Have u priced up factory OEM 2020 V4 fairings? Wonder the cost difference. I’d still want the CF ones

maybe leave it exactly the same as factory corse but let Ducati lettering be clear right to CF

I remember when u said this, I was like yeah right he’s gonna mod this bike to the max.

I am so excited to see the new fairings in paint. Gonna be supreme

hah! There was no point in ordering V4 OE fairings since they probably would have been the same price as these. When I ordered these fairings I got a nice discount because I think it was around Black Friday and there was a big promo at the time, like 20 20% off or something, so it was absolute no brainer to order these.

Fairings dropped off. We'll see them, hopefully, in a month. He's got 2 projects ahead of me, so with all the work from home situation, I'm not too worried about timing. If I need to ride anywhere, I have my daily bike anyways.

Ordered the CNC Racing Pramac Racing Limited Edition gas cap. Currently have the TMW quick release system, but wanted to add some pop. Spoke to Bellisimoto about ordering this and they only come in Red with Blue cap, or silver with red cap. Lyle at Belli was kind enough to allow me to adjust the order so that I can have the silver base with the blue cap since I want the blue to go with my Corse but didn't want the red base because that red doesn't match with my Corse at all. Will probably post my TWM kit whenever it comes in.
