Anyone tell what this random cutout is?

Just to add in, my bike had a code of something like "High Missfire" when a coil and plugs where bad.

Once you trip that code the injector for the cylinder that the misfire was detected on will be disabled until the engine was completely shut off.

I think he’s asking if it was cutting out so often that you could tell immediately that the qs swap solved it.

Yes, I could tell that swapping the QS cured the problem. As, after swapping the QS, the problem never reoccurred. I did four sessions on track to verify. And in the previous two sessions (to QS swap), the problem occurred.
It is possible, that it wasn't the QS, and coincidentally the problem went away at the same time as swapping the QS.

My main theory is that a lot of these small electronic gremlins are due to excessive stagnant heat that accumulates after hard riding. Picked up a Vacmaster “air mover” to take to the track and plan to use it to circulate air and cool down the bike as quick as possible.

My experience was the same. Bike was nearly unrideable, swapped in a new oem qs - bike functioned perfectly.

Are you guys running the heat insulation on it?

Not a bad idea.
