Anyone thought of doing exhaust wrap?

I posted on the forum earlier then found this thread ..today I installed wrap on the rear pipe, I then re installed the OEM heat shield.
all I can say it was one hell of a job to get the shield off and then wrap I’m hoping when I ride it again I see some improvement for my efforts I see you guys leave the cover off ?

i rode it wrapped with the cover off, would not recommend doing that.looking at your heat shield, it's the first gen, the updated ones did a better job in shielding.

Anyone thought of doing exhaust wrap?
