No doubt in my military mind you are a true inspiration to all of us my friend!
I wish you all the very best in all that you do and all your goals in life, not just this one in particular man. I hope that Ducati again recognizes you for your unreal efforts and you are invited to attend any of their events as the true VIP!

Peace be with you and as always prayers for you every night brother!

Semper Fidelis,

Gunny

Prints soon, along with some other cool stuff!

Gunny--thanks for your kind words. I'll do my best to ensure that my trip RTW will be a fascinating read.

Cool, guys. Hopefully mine gets fixed before the rest of y'all end up running into the same problem. I'm kind of at the tip of the spear for issues and expected to have at least one issue that had Ducati scratching their heads. Once the code is cracked it becomes a known solution....being the first one to run into it is never fun, but it's just to be expected.

Dennis... I think I speak for everyone when I say we are truly grateful for everything you have done... Not sure any other brand/model has been so fortunate to have a "crazy guy" like you trailblaze as you have... Thank you!!!!!:)

Could very well be the O2 sensors. If I had gutted the cats, though--or done any non-Ducati-related mod, guaranteed that's what they'd be pointing the finger at as the cause. Never used leaded gas, though.

And yeah, my bike has seen track use and long distance use, but still, it's only at 27.5k miles. I think we all hope that our bikes have a longer life expectancy than that!

I would start checking all the grounds, this computer control crap is ultra sensitive to bad grounds, I have had to chase those before, sometimes it's been a broken wire with the insulation still intact, I have even found a connector crimped on an un striped wire from the factory.

Thanks, guys. Probably not a good idea to encourage either my recklessness or my insanity, but it does make for some good stories. :)

I like this idea . Also check your fuel line from your tank . These are common to crimp and can collapse when re fitting the tank.
Your tank sounds like it has been on and off a fair bit .

Been checked and all ok there. As for the grounds....ummm, how many are there?

Denis, i wish you the best of travels... i'm known to live the trackday-dream. And it is a boys fantasy...

Yours is a way of life... a definor of character.. and that, my friend, is something else all together..

All my hats off to you, sir... :)

That means a lot from you, Kope. You are living the dream, and I suppose I'm living another kind....or will be soon. (Or maybe have been and I just don't know it.)

I've also got some Tiny albums (24 photos, 3 different cover options) that chronicle my Coast to Coast trip up and ready to ship, too:

Lead behind the battery checked out. Bike is back at the dealer...stay tuned for more.

Also, if anyone wants a print, shoot me a PM. They can be purchased through my Etsy storefront or by contacting me directly at any time. So far 899panigale.org has viewed the page 10x more than ducati1199.com (85 vs. 8) --and I didn't even post there! C'mon guys!!!!

Funny you should ask, double0. I've got poster sized prints coming in, but have to proof 'em before I put 'em up for sale. I hope to have them by the end of this week or early next.

Capt CF--white still in the mix, but not there yet.
