Just got word back. Main bearing is shot and it's not going to be covered under warranty due to "track abuse." I'm crushed.

I've got a buddy who's willing to trade me his S1000RR for my FJ, so my trip might just be "Round the World with a German Supermodel with a lazy-crazy eye." Argh.

I'd definitely be interested in a white one for sure. If you could even customize it like my white and blue color scheme, that would even be better but that's wishful thinking :)

That sucks man. Did they happen to tell you the cost of such a replacement? Just curious.
 
I guess ducati's aren't meant for the track? DNA is making it sound as Ducati's aren't trackable..... That's sad... Sorry to hear Dennis.....:(
 
Yeah they said something about it being April 1st or something....:p Are you guys kidding? An S1000RR? Ok, I'll have to admit it could be fun, but all my ride report pictures would have to be from the back end! The front end would send people in Mongolia running for a broom to beat it with. :D

Well anyone who would spend so much time and money on customizing their bike to the pinnacle of perfection should surely immortalize it with one-off commissioned portrait. Don't the rest of you think? :D
 
I'd certainly pay for a 24x36 type of print. If there were wheels associated with the photo, basically a full photo of the bike, this would be priceless for me. Whenever u can find the free time that is! You can even give it your ol John Hancock somewhere hidden in the photo and be praised by the masses for a job well done. Now how can you say no to that? I could even provide plenty of photos to work with Lol
 
I've got a good six or seven pieces I'm working on right now, but shoot me a pic and I'll at least do some sketches.
 
Damn dennis. That looks freakin AWESOME! How about that exact same thing in white with blue R decals and wheels? Seriously man that looks insane!

Mind if I ask what size it was and how much?
