guys, how are you getting the prints, is there a site? And of Antihero there's nothing I'd say that has not been said already. "What we are you were, and what you are now we only hope to be" Simply epic stuff! Where do I go to support?
 
Back to the subject of the round-the-world ride, how are you shipping the bike overseas? Air, sea, row? ;)
 
Air. Right now the trip is stalled. My bike has had a high idle issue for about six months. Spent a couple of those months in the shop on 5 separate occasions. Thought it was fixed (new ECU), but 1,000 miles after the 'fix', the poltergeist is back. I've posted up in the tech forum and on Ducati.ms to try and get some ideas on possible causes.

My warranty is up in June. If anyone knows of an International Extended warranty--or at least can recommend one for Europe, I'd appreciate it. Won't be a very exciting RTW trip if I'm pushing it up and down the Alps on my way to Siberia.

So I've seen the final result of the above painting and Antihero has kindly accepted my request to commission a similar original piece of artwork in the 1199R motif. (No prints for me....original or nothing!:D This will be my second AH original !!...my other is the original autopsy piece....gotta be a fan of Da Vinci to appreciate that one!! ). I'm sure other R owners will buy up the prints that will follow this piece.

(Seeing as his Pani is trying to give up the ghost; :eek:he should have ample time to finish my original prior to leaving for the around the world trip!!)

Let's get some more original commissions lined up for our AH to help get his new Pani up and running, as this idle issue is not trying to go away anytime soon!!!

Bike being dropped off for crating tomorrow. Flying into Milan at the end of next week. Once reunited the real fun begins.

(For those who missed it, I traded in my beloved original for a 2014 (Thanks Newport Beach Ducati!) and spent the last week and a half putting 1000 break in miles on 'er and bolting .... on for battle:
