Hi
ok sounds good.
Does he have fans blowing sufficient air in?
Rich
Looks like I won't get in until 6th May
Todd Paterson from Bunbury Dyno was also at the dyno session though and this was his email to me just now:

Hi Carlo, I was there when it was on the dyno. It produced the most that we could get it to make. The fueling is perfect and it got ignition timing changes to make it say the highest result that we could.
Does it feel much nicer to ride and is the down low to mid range feel better to you ?
I cant do it tomorrow cause Weekends can be very busy for me with the kids and bike racing etc.
Maybe I can sqeeze it in next week some time if you like for a power run so that you get the higher reading and to compare dyno to dyno but as far as tuning goes, I think this is as good as we all can get it at the moment.
------------------------------
I'll run it and keep my fingers and toes crossed.
Cheers
Carlo

Hi Carlo
if the air is blown in correctly then it will produce the figures that Copias bike produced. A before and after test AR vs Termi would be a good idea, as we tested.
That thread is a lost cause as the ignorant amongst us decide to only read the results from you and not the remarks from the other tuners and bikes such as copies!
You mention a refund!
We stand by our results but i am sure you will have absolutely no difficulty selling your system on if you are at all unhappy with its class leading looks, sound, weight and performance.
cheers
Rich

Hi Rich
I am going to go Bunbury. They have dyno'd several 1199 so they can compare pretty easily. I am pretty sceptical that the air is going to make that much difference but as I said I'm going to give it a go.
Thanks
Carlo

Hi Carlo
I See your results on forum.
You really do need to go to the other dyno and get the air blown into the front.
With all due respect to the tech that told you the exhaust in his opinion did not perform better than termi slips, he simply has no idea what he is saying and certainly does not have any relevant data to substantiate that statement. We spent over 12 months with this system making sure it out performs everything else!
Please let me know if I can be of any further help to you
Cheers

Hey Rich
Was delighted to see the guys in Sydney extract some great numbers from the pipe. I think they'll be using that as a starting point for my bike so I should be killing it soon!
When I get my bike back I'll be sure to bring the thread to a close with a bang.
Cheers

Hi Rich,
I've passed on your details to them in a PM.
I actually don't have any contact with him other than through the forum so I guess you could always start there anyway.
Thanks
Carlo

Hi Carlo
Can you ask the tuneboy guys to contact me. I may have a business proposition for them if it proves to work on yours.
I will email across some run charts from our system for your tuning guys to reference from for them mapping your bike.
I can tell for sure when mapped correctly it will power Weelie in 4th gear making insane power
Rich
Hi Rich,
Was great to ride the bike with the system on yesterday, the sound is quite unique. I suspect it might get a tad bassier when tuned as well.
Thought you might like to know that such is the interest the guys from BunburyDyno are actually traveling the 250km up,to Perth to work with my guys at ProTwin to tune the bike so I'm confident that with the two best ducati guys in the state we'll get a great result. These guys respectively build and tune race and drag bikes.
Hopefully they'll pump the air into the intakes so we can get some numbers comparable to yours and put that one to bed! Whatever happens it will be beautifully tuned and then I will take it to BunburyDyno and get them to just run it for a comparison.
Withe regards to the heat shield any ideas of what this will look like/be made of? I think it's safe to assume I'd like one please.
Anyway, excited to 'feel' the result next week.
Cheers
Carlo
Ok we'll make sure we get as close as we can buy ram air.

Hi Carlo
The problem is with a straight through free flowing exhaust you must match the fuel air mixture coming in to how fast the exhaust can get rid of it. Without the air blown at the bike simulating the road or track you will never get accurate figures.
If you map the best you can but keep it on the rich side once you ride the bike the power will be there but will probably not show as high on the dyno.
We gain torque over stock and the termi options at all points so, no, it is not normal to have a dip compared to the termi graph. That is the area we spent months designing the exhaust to help get rid of.
Your dyno guy needs to follow the instructions I gave you to dyno the bike correctly.
Let me know how you get on.
Cheers

Hi Rich
One question that occurred to me around dyno setup.
If the shops here don't have these massive ram air fans then do you think we'll never match your figures?
