Austinracing system updates

Ducati Forum

Help Support Ducati Forum:

The point i am trying to make is that this thread is for questions and answers about the system, its not to start yet another slanging match.

I am simply asking that posts be kept to relevant points which generally would mean to owners or would be owners of the exhaust.

Rich... as disappointing as this maybe to hear..You cannot control nor stipulate who posts on here and in what manner....:) Its an open forum....

Reading must not be your strong suit. There should be no need to send the part back in the first place. AR should send out replacements free of charge, the end. That's how you right a wrong and build customer rapport and loyalty. Shipping the part then waiting to receive a replacement is a HUGE inconvenience to someone who dropped thousands of dollars.
So you cant just say you disagree with me but you have to assume I cant read thus judging a guy you don't know at all. Just making a point. I'm moving to a forum that actually talks about the issues and not bashes people. Good day everyone.

Believe me, contrarians, when I tell you that all of your misgivings are well noted. The details of "how to boil water" are a mystery by comparison. We get it. Now.....can you let someone else ... someone who cares about something besides your pedantic nonsense and the size of his "post count" .... share something that the population at large might want to hear?

Your little clan of post Nazis is wearing thin. It became obvious a long time ago that many of you are only concerned with self agrandisement via inflated posting numbers by reiterating the same nonsense over and over, and mutual support of all the other peas in the nut-swinging pod. Do this comminity a favor and put together a suicide pact. We won't mourn you. Your own families probably won't mourn you.

This will be my last post related to the little clan .... and I do mean little ... on this thread, which should have been dedicated to AR exhausts but has once again been despoiled by a few morons.

Duc, please appoint a mod or two who might remove this, and all of the other disruptive posts, from this and all the forum's other threads so that the community might have some sense of structure and a semblance of relevance.

As to the rest of us....if we ignore the trolls...not really the correct term but I don't know a term to apply to a small group of mutually supporting dingleberries....hey.....that's it....such groups should simply be called dingleberries....they stink and generally orbit a throbbing unwashed ...........if we ignore the dingleberries maybe they'll just get too heavy for the rectal hairs that hold them and they'll fall away.

For what it's worth, Rich, I'm considering your exhaust.

Quod erat demonstrandum

Lol I did find that most amusing. Can we not try to all be friends.

I would guess mods will have more of an issue with a member telling other members to kill themselves than he would with discussing a product. Stay classey cloner.

Friends!

Now that would be novel.

Stw, I am not trying to police who posts i am simply requesting that we keep to the point of the thread to stop genuinely interested members from having to sift through masses of nothing to get to the info they are looking for.

Rich

Post in the MarketPlace then.... Thats my suggestion....

1199-tech.com would have been a good alternative.

clean, moderated, tech oriented and not personality focused

seems to be down.

kids like this sandpit with the cat poo better :D

I looked around for another one for a bit too, but the other ones I found were either deserted or clogged with SPAM. There is also no guarantee that there aren't other dingleberries over there that will infest your threads and cause you just as many problems as over here.

Possible solutions:
1) increase moderation level to force threads to stay on topic and keep dingleberries confined to the off topic forums
2) add dingleberries to "ignore" list
3) ignore dingleberries without using the "ignore" feature
4) ban dingleberries
5) leave and find another dingleberry free home

There may be others, but I didn't feel that Cloner's "gently suggest group suicide until it takes hold" will likely be successful. :)

Www.Dingleberryfree.com.. Cloners new site...

Or don't post something that inflames Dingleberrys, thus preventing them from festering:

1. Do not attempt to change a Dingleberries mind
2. Do not try to make a Dingleberry do anything (see 1)
3. Post in the correct forum
4. If you choose to post as a vendor, do not get personal
5. In general- confine an attack in a post to a bike/product, not a person

We are virtually un-modded, so it is up to us to follow (we cannot enforce, see #2), Duc hasn't been here for 4 days, obviously he is very busy in the "real" world.

I expect everyone to ignore this post (see #2), but it is fact.

This is part of the problem. Since there are no "rules" per se, the community is left to police itself. That works for some, but as we are recognizing, people have very different ideas how things should run and what level of moderation we should have so we have this constant friction. We can throw out rules all day, but your rules may seem reasonable to you and other dingleberries ;) , but may give someone else conniptions.

Yea, I know, we're screwed. This is pretty much what we got. It is the best 1199 forum by far, even with the occasional flare ups. And they're just words, remember what your Mom said about words...
