Great bike man but honestly, you should have just started with a motor and built it. Your going to change the forks which means new calipers so 20k (you can’t use the MS calipers in the SBK forks). I know we both like spending money but this after the forks will basically be a total ground up build.

Man I probably would have only saved $20k at very most, not an insignificant amount of money but also worth it to me to have this numbered 25 Anniversario 916 done up like this…I’m actually a fan of Foggy’s fierceness as a competitor, it’s Jordanesque, and I like that.

Lots of ground up builds out there, none like this, it’s a one of a kind bike, and all I’m in love with it.

This is my first sport bike not counting the Streetfighter V4S, and my first bike build, so it has a warm and fuzzy place with me.

Plus, I’ll do a ground up build eventually, including engine internals etc…but this is my first go around and it just sort of blossomed into being this much of a project a bit at a time.

As an aside, one can only chuckle at how much money you have in your bike after YEARS of doing this through what I imagine are multiple iterations, and that’s just cash, the TIME you’ve put into yours is what’s most impressive.

I think I’m going to put the special addition Magnesium Marchenesi wheels back on the bike abs put racings slicks on the ThysenKrupp abs use those for track days.

I just think the gold color wheels fit the bike better…and out on the street the tiny bit of extra gyroscopic forces are a good thing not a bad thing…whereas at the track on consistent tarmac and where being able to flick the bike side to side better is put to better use.

Fantastic bike and incredible build!

Thanks brother, it’s a passion project for sure.

And would have taken me years if it weren’t for a lot of guys here at the forum pointing me in a good direction.

Several of the cooler items I bought aren’t on the bike yet, they’re either waiting to be shipped and will arrive mid-January, (Pierobon swingarm and Spark SBK exhaust, Woolich tuner will be here soon too) or in boxes in the garage (brake calipers, clutch slave) but by the end of January everything will be on for some spring Track days.

Then as Endo says we start working on the shocks through the summer.

I just don’t wanna tackle the shocks until I have some more track days on the bike.

Haven’t put them on yet but in got the Rage Turn Signals that wrap around the forks, it’s the cleanest looking option I could find.
I'm curious to see how the NR fork turn signals mount on. In the NR website it looks like it's mainly for naked bikes (street fight).

I have it at the house now, but will wait until I put the Spark exhaust on which should be here in a week or two.

Only came with one wide and O2 sensor though, was thinking I needed two for these bikes.

I would have thought so. Does the LogBox have an input for more than one sensor?
