Everyone who goes with the RCS 17, which is forged IIRC, seems to rave about it. Is the billet stuff that much better?

And is the RCS 17 actually better than stock? I recall RickD996 racing and preferring the standard master cylinder.

Am I right in saying the standard bore is 16mm? There are billet 16mm master cylinders out there at about £500, although the blurb says "for single disc applications". Any views on that?

OEM is 16, and I think people go for the RCS 17 to get rid of how spongy the brake lever can feel. I thought about going with the RCS 17 (non Corsa Corta) but I think that means I have to sort out switches etc.

It's a bit spongey with the 16, but endless bleeding has helped it be bearable at least. I find it OK, reasonably progressive and decent feel, but I'm sure it can be improved (still running ABS).

The 17 RCS Corsa Corta is way better than stock, the stock unit feels so spongy I can’t use it after the 17RCS Corsa Corta.

Karl I just sold a $1500 rear MC in that line that I bought and never put on the bike lol.

I think Endo bought the one you mentioned, and raved about it

The Corsa Corta version has a lot of adjustability to really dial in how you want it to feel…having said that, I always run it in R mode, so now Karl has me with my thumb hovering over the add to cart button lol

Can I have a short list of the OEM parts you have on your bike?

The clutch MC is OEM, so is most but not all of the wiring harness, and the engine of course. There are some engine bolts that I didn’t convert to titanium yet, but those bolts are big enough that I may eventually. The bolt for the front sprocket is still oem because I ordered a titanium one but lost it 😂😂😂

The front forks and fork bottoms are OEM though not the internals.

The digital display is OEM

Wow so working from front to back:

-Forks but not the internals.
-Digital display
-Clutch MC
-Most of the wiring harness and ECU though that’s tuned
-Front sprocket bolt
-the air duct to the Gear Position Sensor and the Sensor are technically OEM, but the newer one.

That’s all that’s still OEM that I can think of left on the bike.

Oh the blip shifter linkage is still OEM.
Kickstand is OEM but slightly modified

Is that all you need? The brake light banjo bolt?

I thought the lever on the RCS wouldn’t clear the switch housing or maybe it was the throttle because of the spacing the switch housing causes?

Fits fine on my setup, with the switches on the back of the MC and either the Domino or JetPrime throttle.

Does your bike still have the OEM throttle and switch housing?

Either way I had the same MC on my street fighter that had the stock throttle.

2k master way better money spent then 10k in wheels

Agreed on that.

Although right now my brakes feel really really good to me, which is of course a subjective thing.

I’m gunna try that Brembo EVO billet radial deal out though. I suspect that I’m gunna like how it feels because the piston size and throw and lever action while not adjustable as much as the Corsa Corta already comes with the same settings I have my Corsa Corta set to…so it should feel very similar but hopefully with increased precision.

And, if I don’t like it someone here my get a good deal on one 😂😂😂

Thanks for the tip, I had seen them before and wanted to try one out, but was happy with my current setup so it kept getting put on the back burner and eventually fell off my radar.
