Base Model Production Delay

At the end of the line I saw about 3 regular Pani's finished. Maybe bikes for demo. Majority was S model. 95%. I saw no Tricolores.

I GOT IT ALL FIGURED OUT GUYS !!! LOL j/k but kinda

This pertains to guys in North America and maybe world wide... ask your dealer when are they scheduled for 1199 Pani Sales Training and that will give you an idea of when the SOONEST they'll get their hands on one.

Each dealer has to have at least 1 Sales Rep (depending on dealer size) attend the Sales training (where they'll get to ride the bike also) before a bike is delivered.

So, though im #2 at my dealer and was scheduled for a late March delivery, the combination of delays and my Dealer scheduled for an April 15 Training, it is evident I wont see my bike until second half of April

...could be worst I guess lol.

...let us know what your dealer says in regards to sales training

I heard the same from my dealer - they were scheduled for training this month (March) and has been delayed with no reschedule date :-(

only the USA appeared to send our reservation letters so it must be a DNA initiative - at the end of the day the Factory decides when bikes are manufactured and shipped so DNA have to work with what they are allocated

Ducat North America - PS there's other countries in North America.

I work with a bunch of guys in Niagara Falls - on the Canadian side and have seen the extensive customs arrangements on the bridges,
My suggestion was that a DNA initiative might also cover Canada as well,,,hence my comment about DNA.

I will be attending the Panigale Academy at NOLA Motorsports Park in New Orleans on April 15th through the 17th. I will be taking some hot lap sessions on the Panigale S in the Expert Division

I will take as much video and HD sound bytes that is allowed and report back to you guys the night of the event.

Hang in there guys I really think this bike is worth the wait!

yeah my dealer Steve O, who im sure you'll meet told me all about it...jealous lol...I wonder if he'd let me tag along, at my own expense

The lack of official word from ducati is frustrating... I put deposit on a base as well in mid february. At the time, One of the dealer staff said to expect delivery in first or second batch, roughly early April. I called today after reading the delay rumors, and answer from a different staff was that they were getting tricolores first, then the S models, then expecting base models in june sometimes... he then asked some other guy and he said they weren't sure of the dates... I guess it'll be a patience game ahead!

Lol, yeah I bet.. I waited for the reviews before putting deposit, so my wait hasn't been too long. I'm hoping for some luck to get it earlier than june tho
