What concrete evidence do you have of an afterlife ?
( I guess you could turn the tables and say what evidence is there that there is no "afterlife")

I am not here to start any fights, I just find it fascinating when I come across people who believe in God and there reasons why they believe "it" exists...

PS- the world is going to .... pretty fast... When do you think the " second coming " will happen, in our lifetime? Have the events in revelations that John prophesied started, and if so
Then these are the "end of times" ....no ?

I'm startled that WWII wasn't the beginning of the end. I've often wondered, can we postpone the EOT's by thwarting some of it's beginnings?

I don't really have faith. Mines based on experience. I'm lucky, kinda. :(

That's the part I'm always confused about ....
If God is " perfect," why create man and then put "conditions" of faith in him at the expense of punishment ???

A sadistic God and bored God ( that he would have to create man and enforce conditions on man's existence ?)

If this God is so perfect there would be no need for the creation of other beings... Unless.... There is the " Ego" involved ... God gets satisfaction in his creations ? To give us free will seems a bit off in the bigger scheme of a being that created a Universe that is never mentioned to my knowledge in the bible... No talk about other planets or stars or galaxies only heaven and earth ....

Just my 2 cents...[emoji56]

It would be kinda cruel to give us free will, but not at least mention what he'd like us to do with it.

God gets immense satisfaction from us when we choose his path. And he payed a high price for our souls. I don't know why. Or what's next.

We have free will, for the same reason a real Puppy is a ton better than a robot dog. Noones proud of an obedient robot. Our choice, is important.

That being further said , it is my belief to the bible fanatics…No "God" can save you now… Only you can save "you" from yourself….

That's pretty much how it works, LOLz. You're mostly correct with much you've said. .

But there is some help. It's amazing. Athiests often understand God better than a devout Christian, they just haven't made the leap. Yet.

And make no mistake, there's PLENTY of devout Christians that aren't going to make the cut and get a rude shock in the afterlife. You'll find the most crooked snakes in the world sitting in a Church. But that doesn't really discredit the entire religion. Don't ever underestimate your instincts, but continue to dig deeper. In fact, the most "Athiestic", even terribly cruel people, became the biggest followers of Christ in the Bible. Paul was a ........

As far as signs you request. Just look around you. The world can be very bad since it is run by sin. but it is also beautiful.. Satan is the prince of this world..His time will come also someday. He was once the most beautiful angel but he rebelled and took 1/3 of the angels in heaven with him to make war on God and earth.. Nothing happens unless God wills it..

Except free will. God doesn't know if we will choose to overcome our faults. God's "plan A" didn't work in the Bible. and "plan B " was a failure so bad he wiped us out in a flood. Even then, "plan C" sure seemed like a PITA for him as well. Heck, I consider that Christ was not just needed for our souls, but God required his point of view as well. Faith in Christ is a loophole in God's plan that works.

God will not show himself to you because you have shut Him out. ** He doesn't have to prove to you that he exists. If you choose to not believe that is your prerogative.. However you will bow before him one day. "It comes upon man to die once , Then comes the judgment"
y

That's what happened to me. You can't see anything in the Bible or from Christs perspective unless you kinda start to want to. If you shut him out, the holy spirit will not take place. And it's a slow learn sometimes.

Many people instinctively believe, without religion, that there's something else after death. They're right. And there is many people that instinctively think the opposite, that we turn to dust, and that's it. They're also right, that might actually be their hell.

If you look around at the world we're in. The way crooked people act, it makes a ton more sense now. It's even predictable. From politicians to libtards. Their antics make no sense at all sometimes, unless you're a Christian. Then all the pieces come together. It's actually a bit scary.

Why shun Christmas, but support Islamic traditions in a public place?
Why support gayness? We know that's destructive to the health of a nation.
Why ban inanimate items that make a country strong, and endanger very few, like firearms? And then ignore Americas real health problems like alcoholism.
Why allow foreign murderers into the country? Who's that going to help?

Why the HUGE push for legalized weed. THC is already available in pill form. And there's other, better drugs available already. (Americans can't even responsibly drink alcohol, we don't stand a freakin chance with Weed)

It all makes sense a ton better when you've read the Bible. There maybe a pattern among Christians, but there's a predictable pattern among Demons as well.

I wish I was. I'd be rich by now. I've often looked back on my life: "Why didn't I just pretend to be a hardcore Democrat, go into politics and just be the most crooked Senator or Congressman the USA has ever seen?"

That ....., Sharpton, has made a fortune duping people and stirring things up. If he can do it, anyone can.

I'm completely independent. There are a few D's I've supported. And there are a ton of R's that need a dose of my size 14 boot. McStain come's to mind at the present moment.

The sad thing is, our POS crooked, corrupt, selfish, government,......is still by far the best government in the world by a long shot.

I'm not the one that gives such an argument. Can only preach my experience. And sadly, my experience isn't going to prove a darn thing to anyone.....but me.
I think that's how it was meant to be.

Such arguments will never work, you have to explore both sides with an open mind on your own. You're too smart to fall for a Christian pep rally.

You have to experience it yourself. No one else will ever be able to explain it. Maybe we can open a door here or there. But a long winded argument is a waste of your time. And I'm no church goer, or holly roller.

Now if Buliwyf could spread this to others in this thread, my forehead and palm of my hand would be WAY less sore.
