So no one is getting the gold Akra?

Makes the announcement somewhat misleading considering they mentioned a special edition Akra. It looks like the standard R slip on with cats.

Check out post number 271 : Click me!

Also, if you google, you'll find photos from happy customers with newly delivered Anniversarios with gold Akras.

Why some of you are getting the standard Akras I do not know.

Nice Congrats! Any plans for mods?

SomeFun - I have already placed a large order for parts. Let the fun begin! LOL

CNC Racing "Pramac" limited edition rear-sets

Termignoni Titanium header with Forward exit canisters

RapidBike "Race" Tuner

Marchesini Magnesium wheels (Just cause I like the traditional style better and going for a little more weight reduction)

CarbonVani Matte Carbon fiber pieces - Undertail with no hole for tag bracket, V-panel surrounding radiator, lowers which will be painted just like stock ones (including the anniversario decal but instead of the black it will show the matte carbon finish, Air duct covers, Reservoir brackets, the inner panels on each side behind your middle cowling that hold the electronics will also get swapped to carbon, of course the exhaust comes with a new heat shield, and several other small trim pieces. Basically, most all of the black plastic on the bile will be replaced with matte carbon. Trying to do this without going overboard on carbon. Trying to keep it very tastefull.

Hoping Gecko will build me a tail light like he posted in here a few weeks ago with the sequential turn signals. I'm fabricating the tag relocator bracket today.

Looking to swap for a quick change sprocket carrier and do a 520 chain

Still a lot more in the works. I'll post some photos soon of all the progress. Should be seeing a lot of parts in the next few days.

Got mine yesterday... ....... what a beast! (042/500). Got about 50 miles put on yesterday. Plus got the passenger seat (cake removing cover and flanges) and pegs (those were a .....) on.

Putting on the Akra slipons this weekend, I opened up the box yesterday and they due have kind of a goldish tint to it (it is titanium). They are definiely not a silver color...

Also has anyone that's gotten their bike found the aluminum block off plates? I haven't found them.

Combat - I didn't get mine either. I placed a call and the dealer is going to inquire about getting them from Ducati. As I'm sure you know already they were listed on the Ducati site as items that came with the Anniversario

Damn Moose that's a big list! LOL I'm planning on an air filter up grade, Rapid Bike Race Tuner, and some carbon but hoping thats about it. I have a pretty good amount of ladies in the stable that are modded like crazy and I'm hoping I can ride this one more than work on her :) Good luck man keep us posted!

They said that about my H2 until everyone saw it in person.

The only difference is the letter after the * is an H not an F

My VIN code does begin ZDM14BYW1HB

Just an FYI on carbon - I've looked at a number of different brands and have shift tech stuff on my 1098S Tricolore, the Carbonvani stuff matches the Ducati matte carbon the best. IMO.

My estimated delivery was the 16th.... And got nothing the wait is awful! Anyone else have this problem?

I put deposit down right after it was released. Was first told July 16 and knew there was no way. After that all I heard was August. Unfortunately you just have to be patient. I will assure you though it was worth the wait. You should have it very soon as I keep hearing of more and more deliveries just in the last week.
Good luck and enjoy!

only thing i heard was it is gonna be august (1st wave they say). this wait is driving me nuts as well

Picked mine up last week 8/9. I couldn't be happier!

The ridiculous reflectors were the first thing to go. Haha. They actually came off very easily. Ti header and various carbon bits on the way.

what did you get with the bike? i see ppl are getting different stuff. did you get everything from the ducati website? carbon tank protector, black handle bar weight, mirror plug, also is ignition switch cover carbon too? thanks!

Mine left NJ on the 16th, should arrive by the week of the 6th. Planning lots of mods, headers and fender eliminator will be installed immediately. Thinking about doing a wrap/ceramic pro combination.

Only carbon pieces are the front and rear fenders, heel guards, shock cover and lower chain guard. Key guard is the black plastic. Per the Ducati page you are supposed to receive mirror block off plates and undertail plate to cover hole when you remove the tag/turn signal bracket. I didn't receive these but I told dealer and they are contacting Ducati and I should know something or receive them soon.
