I've had better experiences at DucSea. But my time at DucBell is VERY limited.

Thanks Panny. The guys at Seattle seem easier to work with and are more accommodating. They're actually willing to come pick up my bike in Tacoma and deliver it when its done. Just curious about other's experiences.

Duc bell will get your bike and deliver it to, personally I bought my bike form duc sea and was treated like crap after I purchased it, I went back 4 days after I bought the bike to look at some new gear and one of the sales guy who sold me the bike asked if I was going to buy anything, when I said I was looking around he then told me if I wasn't going to buy then I should leave. The same guy I bought the bike from 4 days earlier. I won't go back I will only deal with duc bell I've been happier with them, but that's just me.

I am very surprised to hear about Kevin's negative experience with Ducati Seattle, all the employees there have treated me very well. Ducati Seattle has been very helpful and outgoing in every aspect. I have not done business with Ducati Bellevue but they seem to be good people as well.

I've now dealt with both and have been treated fairly well. DucSea actually offered to come get my bike for service and it was presented as some sort of favor by DucBell. An imprtant service to me since it's difficult for me to get up there and back if I have to leave my bike for service. Overall, nothing bad to say, certainly I wasn't "king of the mountain" anymore after buying my bikes from DucBell, but I was never treated badly... Sorry, you were treated badly, that's BS.

It could have been an off day or something, I'm sure ill pop in again at some point just left kinda pi$$ed and decided to stay away for awhile. On a funny note when I bought mine one of the sales guys at duc sea told me there was never going to be a 1199R, I laughed and tried to make a bet but he wouldn't, I so want to go back and ask him about the bike that should have never been made, lol

Anyone know what they are charging for the 12,000km (7500mi?) service? I've heard that service is much cheaper down there, so when it comes time I'll hop over the border and get it done at either of these two.

i have never been there but have purchased things from them and had them shipped and were great to deal with at ducati bellevue. it is the closest dealer in the usa to me and they seem like good guys. just my two cents

Ducati seattle is not the same dealership it was a couple years ago when Dave ran it. For whatever reason Dave was pushed out when a new partner came in and the dealership went thru loads of changes (this was all hashed out on ducati.ms when it happened).

I do know prior to that Duc Seattle was considered one of the best dealerships,, don't know how they are now.

here's the old thread on it:

Hang on...you mean a dealer from the States actually sold you a 2008+ Duc?

Just my experience. Back when I was searching for my 998sfe, Seattle told me they were never imported to the US and tried to sell me the the 999R that was coming out. I talked to Bret at Bellevue about the 999R and told him to go ahead and get me one but it was a shame that the 998sfe wasn't being imported. Guess what? He sold me the 998sfe at a good price and didn't lie to me. Bellevue gets my business.

Bret works at DucSea now. I bought both my bikes from Bellevue, but have had service done at both. They both have some quirks, but I really can't complain at all about the service at either place.

Thanks for the info Bronch. I was just up at Bellevue a couple of weekends ago to pick up some belts and found out he left last November I believe. I'll have to stop in on him when my schedule allows. I've never even haggled the price of a bike with him, he's always tossed out a deal that no other dealers could even think of beating. Took great care of me and a good rider too.
