Really nice!
I am stealing your ideas as you build your bike and building mine :) My one is number 408.

Hi Raul1976,
Thank You for your kind comment, I am really honored that you are willing to perform the same/similar modification to your 916 25 Anniversario :D
By the way, when will your tail fairing return from your painter? Please kindly post the picture of your tail fairing and also the picture of your whole bike with that tail installed.
Thanks again.

I just post a SEMI Group Buy thread here: Lower Carbon Belly Pan Extension from Carbott Composites SEMI Group Buy

Copy and Paste below:
Hello everyone,

I want to keep my original exhaust (at least for now) and I believe some of you also want to keep your original exhaust.

Yes, you can buy a FULL Carbon Belly Pan for stock exhaust from Ilmberger, but you will need to paint them if you want to match the rest of your bike.
However, and Ilmberger solutions is about double the price (even before painting cost). For me, it is not about the cost but I prefer Ducati factory painted parts if possible so it will match the upper side fairings.

Lieb Speed made a very nice Lower Carbon Belly Pan Extension for either Akrapovic optional Slip-On or Full System exhaust:
Verkleidungs - Unterteil für Akrapovic Slipon Auspuffanlage Panigale V4 / V4S / Speciale / R - Kopie
or the install video here:

And I was originally thinking of cutting/trimming this Lieb Speed version, but there are some dome and curve that I think will not fit our bike exhaust well.
I asked Peter Lieb several times about this, but for some reason, Peter never responded back. (I hope he is doing well but I notice he haven't update his facebook page for a while too).

Then, I found Carbott Composites based in POLAND who supply carbon parts to this Ducati racing team: Ducati | Racing Team Toruń
and had made custom Lower Carbon Belly Pan Extension (but for non V4 model) in the past: PANIGALE-CARBON-BELLY-PAN-KIT-EXTENSION

I asked Carbott Composites to custom made for me, I want it to have the same PLAIN MATTE Carbon Fiber pattern to match Ducati Performance original pattern and color, and the similar mounting like Peter Lieb's version.
and Carbott Composites agreed but have minimum order of 4 pieces so it will cover their molding cost.

So I want to find out if anyone else will be interested in doing SEMI Group Buy, meaning we all coordinate about our interest, but we all pay directly and separately to Carbott Composites,
and we also don't have to worry about logistics (and extra cost) because Carbott Composites will ship directly to you, which means this is not limited to just USA based participants.

Carbott Composites told me the ESTIMATE price is Euro 380 per set (I believe not include shipping cost).

If anyone interested, please kindly post it here and private message me your email so I can have Carbott Composites reach out to you and send a PayPal invoice (when they are ready).

NOTE OF CAUTION: I had NEVER order from Carbott Composites before, so I do NOT know the FIT & QUALITY of their product. There will be RISK involved here, and I am NOT getting any commission or profit from this. I just want to be able to purchase this parts without having to pay for 4 sets by myself, but I cannot assume any responsibilities if turn out Carbott Composites disappoint you for any reason with this order.

Below are the pictures to show which parts that I mean by Lower Carbon Belly Pan Extension (I marked them with orange marker):

I was hoping I could install or at least perform several modification steps this weekend, however, turn out, there are plenty of things that I still need to purchase (to do things properly):

I was planning to remove the fuel tank so I can easily access modified things related to rear suspensions (springs, mounting bracket etc), but turn out there is one hose that use Clic style clamp on the left side of the fuel tank that is best remove by a special plier: Amazon.com: CTA Tools 4029 Clic & Clic-R Hose Clamp Plier, 1 Pack: Automotive
So I am ordering it now along with: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WGBTCMM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to connect the clutch and brake lever switch wiring when I replace with Corsa Corta Master Cylinder.
and of course: Amazon.com: Motul M/C Care Factory Line Chain Lube, 9.3oz: Automotive Motul Chain Lube that I somehow forgot to order.

Then, I thought... hmmm maybe just start by removing the rear sprocket system etc... so I get my 24in long 1/2in drive breaker bar and CNC Racing wheel nut socket... but... the wheel and sprocket nut did not want to cooperate.
I then use my Makita Impact Wrench which never fail me, yet this time fail to open the wheel nut. After many try with Makita impact wrench, I decided to just go back to Amazon and order an even larger 3/4in drive with 40in long breaker bar (and 3/4 to 1/2in )adapter: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H3KJQ83/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000NQ4R4G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
But before I call it off for today, I am curious and try one more time with my 24in long 1/2in drive breaker bar,... and suddenly I am able to open the wheel side nut. Happy with the progress, I decided to continue work on the sprocket side nut, with both Makita Impact Wrench and then breaker bar but it won't bulge this time on the sprocket side... so I will just wait until the new longer breaker bar arrived from Amazon in a few days.

However, as consolation, I test fit the AELLA Titanium Nut (on the wheel side) with both the AELLA (hard anodized color) Spacer/Washer and AEM Factory (gold) Spacer Washer. Below is the picture and I like the AEM Factory color better:

I also ordered the tail/brake light connector for my LED tail/brake light project (will be kinda hidden), This way I don't have to cut the factory wiring to tap the current, details coming soon :p

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Thats awesome AEM makes excellent stuff. That wheel nut spacer reminds me of the Porsche GT3 centerlocks .
<<<tighten torque loosen>>>

Thanks HKMP7,
Yes, you are right, I am like...where did I see this before,.. now after you point it out, I realized now :D

by the way, I am having another issue... the CNC racing CHD02B 55mm socket tool : Socket drive tool for front and rear wheel nuts DUCATI
was perfect fit for the stock Ducati nut, but it is a bit too tight for the AELLA Titanium Nut (it did not when in fully).

On AELLA website it actually recommend to purchase this 2 Japanese socket:
* For installation, a socket for axle nut of 55 mm is required.
We use "B40-55" made by KTC or "6405M" made by Ko-ken.
Ducati exclusive socket made by Ko-ken company may not fit, so please be careful.

However those 2 socket are very hard to find or very expensive (eBay seller from Japan try to mark it up too much)
Plus this 2 sockets from Japan is made of steel and I also don't want to buy STEEL socket tool because worry it will mar the surface of this AELLA Titanium nut (is very shiny and very nice finished)...
I rather sacrifice the aluminum socket tool...

I am thinking of buying MotoCorse tool: Polygonal socket drive tool key 3/4 CH55 for rear wheel nuts - Panigale V4 - Ducati - Brands
It looks like it had deeper slot then the CNC Racing one, with curved 12 point which might accommodate AELLA nut easier...
but with MotoCorse, usually has a long lead time...

More parts arrived today from Bellissimoto.com, they are my main source for ProTi, AEM Factory and now CNC Racing items. I also plan to order some MotoCorse items from them. Great Service, Great Rewards system and Great Pricing.

This is my largest ProTi orders so far, about $2,500 in value. I ordered about $1,000 of ProTi in the previous 3 separate orders and I might need another $500 in future orders to complete all the ProTi bolts conversion that I want to achieve.
below is what a $2,500 in ProTi orders looks like:

But the Crown Jewel of this order is actually this newest product for Panigale V4 from CNC Racing, the CNC Racing Titanium Steering Stem Nut, which is shaped like a CROWN and a perfect complement for the Melotti Racing Upper Triple Clamp, picture below:

Great Idea Endodoc, I like it.
Maybe when I can get a larger house in the future.
In fact, I believe the higher position that ProItalia used to display their 916 25 Anniversario, with line of sight height, might help the "desirability effect" plus it was during holiday season,
that made me impulsively decided this model is THE CHOSEN ONE :p

Below is the picture, I took when My Family and I visited ProItalia and saw the 916 25 Anniversario for the first time on December 2019

This one is also nice, taken the same time at ProItalia:

when you down here again in SoCal, let me know, we grab coffee and stuff...

Following the request of my friend HKMP7, I marched to the kitchen, persuade my wife to let me borrow her cooking scale (while she was using it :p) ,
replace her cooking stuff with the CNC Racing Titanium Stem Nut and found out it weight...

IMG_7631.JPG

According to HKMP7 who had taken out his stock stem nut, the stock Ducati Aluminum one weight 50grams, so this Titanium version is 50% heavier :D
Well, it's ok, as long as it have that label saying "Titanium" on it hahaha :p

I found this a few years ago too. As you may recall my aim is to reduce weight. When I started that project in 2014 I purchased the CNC front axle nut in Ti. Very nice piece. I happily fitted it after weighing but then weighed the OEM alloy and found it was lighter. Shock horror. So I swapped them back. I have found that if the volume of the part is the same then the Ti is always heavier as it has a greater density than typical 6000 or 7000 series aluminium alloy. Steel is a different story though. Ti you buy for bike parts is always lighter than the steel OEM part. The bigger the steel part the better bang for buck of weight saving. :)

Have you done these mods?
Carbon wheels
Carbon rotors,
Ti axles front and rear
Light flywheel
Carbon subframe
Carbon tank
Carbon bodywork
Magnesium hub
Ti rods

I am having trouble sleeping... so... I decided to test fit and see the color combination of the items I already had, so I can change and order replacement if I don't like it.

Here are the parts that I test fit tonight:
a. Sitta Quick Change Sprocket Kit
b. AEM Sprocket Holder
c. AEM Cushion Drive with AEM STUD and Titanium Nut (and compare to my ProTi Gold Nut)
d. AELLA Titanium Axle Nut

and after comparing I decide the AEM Titanium Nut is much better fit in both color and shape (12 side vs. 6 side) compare to the ProTi Gold Nut, so I will exchange the ProTi Gold Nut to an even nicer MotoCorse Titanium Nut :p

Here are the final configuration with AEM Titanium Nut before adding the sprocket:

After adding the sprocket:

Don't forget, I will use the EK 520 GP 3D Gold Chain, and I will upgrade the AEM Titanium Nut to MotoCorse Titanium Nut (pictures below) so I think they will look "OK" :D

Ti rear axle and hub, are you able to supply those to us Ed? I know I'd be keen .........

Able, right now I don’t. I had a few of them but they went quickly. I’m waiting for another shipment.

BMW, that setup came out nice. Let us know how the chain alignment came out when you get it all back together. The more pieces you throw in the assembly the more probability for inconsistencies in the alignment as there are no (practical) provisions for adjustment laterally in the assembly except for varying the thickness of the thrust washer. I know the bike is a static display.
