Folding vs fixed rearsets?

I have decided to go with the black CNC Racing rearsets. I'm just about to place the order.

They sell them with the option for either fixed pegs or folding ones that can be locked with pins.

Any advice either way? I'll be setting them up 10mm higher than the stock foot pegs, I won't be dragging them unless I lowside the bike. Bike is used 80% street, 20% Track.

Can anyone comment on if fixed pegs are an issue when you walk the bike backwards and catch your legs on the foot pegs?

Any pro/cons I have missed?

I guess my question is, is there any benefit paying the extra $250 for folding or should I just go for fixed?

I prefer the fixed pegs with folding toe pieces.
Mainly so I can lift the bike by the pegs if I need to service suspension.

That’s the only real benefit I know of.

I had an issue with the pegs moving before I put the pins in. The pegs are super grippy/sharp and when I would attempt to readjust my foot the peg would pivot and mess me up. I had them set to pivot up and slightly back (typical config). They have been pinned ever since and no issues.

Thanks for the advice, I'll save my money and go for the fixed pegs [emoji106]

Wasn't one of the reasons for folding pegs: if you do low side, the peg tucks away rather than stick out so it's less likely to dig in and flip the bike?
