Has anyone changed the rear ride height (V4S) to get more front end feel?

Beautiful tool, very professional. It's strange that the eccentric hub is in the upper half. I always thought the eccentric needed to be in the lower part.
In the chassisprogram motospec are the dimensions of the V4R swingarm with the eccentric in the lower part.

I was looking at this the other day.

I think that image is just to show how the measurements are taken. I don't know if the field that you populate for distance from the horizontal allows for positive and negative values?

It's a pretty full on program tbf, above my pay grade. Even the description of it confused me!

Yes, I think your wright. It's a common used software by chassis engineers in race teams. It's to difficult for a guy like me. Does anybody here know how the eccentric hub is explained in the workshop manual?

Thanks, RickD996, thats clear. On the older ducs the hub always needed to be in the lower part of the swingarm, or am i wrong?

I think I am not the only one... how?
I know it's been months since I checked this thread I used a scissor jack to raise the subframe high enough to get the lower rod end into a position to adjust the ride height. It was not an easy task.

Reviving this thread here. Are there more people with ride height thoughts on the V4S?
I have the 2019 and my Race fairing is scraping the asphalt, and also I feel a little better handling cant hurt.
So I took my shock and extended it by 3 complete turns from the stock setting, meaning 3mm apparenty.
It looks like I could do 2 more complete turns until I hit a natural stop of the thread.

Thoughts?

This may be counterintuitive, and the only way to really tell is to test it, but try shortening the shock. The results may surprise you.

When you unscrew the eye, before it comes to a natural stop, you may see a groove in the threads. This groove should not be visible outside of the shock (even if the lock nut covers it). The groove is an indicator of the eye being too far unscrewed.

Thanks so much Rick.
One remark, let me correct your last statement, taken directly from the Ohlins user manual.
