Heat issues, addressed today by Ducati!

We all need to decide now, do we let these new owners in our forum, our make them create their own? We did let the site-hole guys in, and God forbid the White Pani's, but now there will BHF, and AHF bikes. I say, no AHFs!!!
 
What are you going to call an old owner that gets the fix? BHF Convert? Are we still allowed on? I mean Christ, the glossy carbon guys are still on, that aint fair right there.

I'd call 'em a wimp! I know, I know. Now I know how those private country clubs, feel. But hell, we gotta put our foot down somewhere. But on the other hand, those Glossy-eyed guys just don't sit well with us Matte fellows..
 
i myself havnt bought a panigale and look forward to owning one end of the year
i dont like the look of this new heat shield but from looks of the pics i think they are just plastic covers that fit squeeze over the top of the old one.

if you look closely enough you can see the inner shield of the exhaust shield.

well this would be my choice if i was ducati. to say that you can still buy the bike and looks the same as it was. 2012 models
also hence the top grooves are same of the 2012 shields.

if this is all true i look forward to this shield, as we all know summer can be a pain already without heat issues

How many of you that man up on the heat issue...have purchased the cushy comfort or race seat?
 
Not sure if this was mentioned but when I went to my Ducati dealer the other day he let me know that the UP-Map mentioned in the recent Ducati email is the up-map I already received back in November 2012. :-(

Has it occurred to you folks that when you are riding the bike others can't even see that part of the engine that it covers up? Of course, I guess if you are just a "waxer" and don't really even ride the bike that much maybe you care more about what it looks like than how it rides.....:p
 
I just got off riding a few miles today and could feel the heat waves hitting my legs.. I have the DP Comfort seat though, maybe thats why my ass didn't feel the heat...

Yeah it's not my butt either (race seat), it got more uncomfortable after putting on the Termi headers.
