With a heavy heart I am writing saying I may be giving up my 2013 Tricolor.

Issue dates back about 6 years when I started my issues with Cancer. I got back into motorcycles in October of 2012 after reassessment of risk led me to street bikes. It has been a wonderful year and a half as I quit riding in July after Laguna Super bike race due to pain in the left arm. While my treatments ha worked well, thought the left arm was a orthopedic issue until MRI showed cancer in the bone. Radiation was completed a week ago and expect continued improvement for 3 to 6 more weeks but my hope for getting back on the bike is diminished. I was able to get my helmet on with one hand but had to have my wife remove today.

Bike is a 2013 Tri color with about 10K in mods and 2300 miles; purchased December 2013 new. I start it a warm to operating temps about once a month. If I decide to sell I will keep my 2013 AMG for a while as it is easier to ride and would be able to get back on sooner, if and when able.

Looking for feedback and see if anyone would be interested in a wonderful machine.

So sorry to read this.... heal up and maybe one day you will regain the desire to ride again..But getting well is the most important thing..best wishes for your complete recovery...

Sorry to hear that sloppy. I hope you make a full and quick recovery.

sorry to hear this and GLWS. chin up and you will be back to ride again! ;)

Sorry to hear that bro. Get well and hopefully someday back on 2 wheels. A friend of mine started a non profit called ".... Cancer" after his brother passed a few years ago and he does a lot with bikes and fund raising for riders and their families. Check it out. Not sure if they could help you at all but they are a really cool group that does some great work out there.

Good luck

I am very sorry to hear :(
I wish you all the luck and force for a fast and full recovery!!!

No interest in the bike, but tons of interest in your recovery. Best wishes on a five-year remission.

Bummer. i wish you all the best for a good recovery!

:( Man! Very sorry to read this. Hope it all goes well with current treatment and recovery. Really hope that you can ride again soon.

Best of luck with the sale. A tricolore will not last long in the market. And you can always get the newest and greatest one later, when all the healing is done.

Very sorry to hear this, here's to a quick and full recovery. Hang onto your bike, they don't wear out from sitting, and you won't be surrendering on any level.

with a heavy heart i read your story sloopy. wish you all the best. i too am a cancer survivor so i do know what you are going through. i dont wish it on my worst enemy as the treatments are brutal. chemo and radiation should be for child molesters and the scum of the earth.

please stay in touch if you can but im still rooting against ORAT.

Be well my friend.

Sending all the positive vibes I can generate for your speedy recovery. Don't worry about the bike, there are always better ones around the corner to celebrate your recovery and improved ability to ride!

So sorry to hear this. Your health is the most important thing to focus on right now. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Regards....Topo

Thanks Mark, I wouldn't even wish this on Obama.

That being said having two wonderful machines staring at me is almost too much some times. Out of radiation a week today and progress is there but seems slow now. I have been on watch program 3 times now and something keeps dragging me back in. Problem is, maybe not, I have never known how to quit so go to the gym every other day and still working. As you know sometimes it gets discouraging.

you can't stop but you have to take it a little slower. i hated it when i was home and i hated it more when i went to work and people treated me like i couldn't do anything even though i knew their heart was in the right place. if you have time and want to read a great book. its title is more than the bike or something close to that. its by lance armstrong (guy is a total duche but well worth the read)
