How many miles have you clocked since getting your bike?

7800km on my 2015 R and another 9000km on my 2015 Diavel
Mainly country and highway, but some track (lapping and school) days mixed in there as well.

Panigale R

Bought my Panigale R in February of this year. As of today I have 4000 miles on it and counting. I ride it every other day so I can still ride my 2006 999S. I have 45,000 on the 999S.

1299

Just clocked 20 000km since June 2015 .
Weekend and day rides . Don't commute

ANd it's not going to be "aging" as fast as I thought, because for the first time in my adult life, I have stopped commuting by motorcycle.. At least my service costs and tyre budget will be almost zero!!

The logistics of getting my 2 1/2 year old daughter to school, means that it doesn't work, time-wise for me to get her to school then spend 30 minutes driving home, getting all my gear on and then riding to work. Bummed...

I bought a 2017 BMW i3 for my commute, so I can use the diamond lane; otherwise I would effing shoot myself being stuck in traffic with no way of going anywhere.

I feel you man. I will be doing the school run soon. It is seriously going to reduce my riding. I almost exclusively commute to work and meetings.

Delivered my bike for desmo service last week... And new pistons... And rings... And sleeves

Bought july 2015. Have maybe 1300 miles:eek: Just no time to ride. Have it here for when I want to go out.

Wow, what happened? Why the new pistons and sleeves?

It's puking oil. Started out by pushing oil into the airbox when I pushed it hard, thought it was fixed. Dealer said it was just over filled, so we adjusted the oil level and attached the drain hose. Then I 3D printed a 7-8 dl oil catch tank, so it wouldn't drain to the ground, but be collected instead. Fast forward 2 months, going to a trackday. It filled the tank in 15 minutes. After that, it just got worse and worse. Talked to my dealer, and I'm getting an overhaul warrantied now when it's in for desmo service.

I've done about 6500 km on my S and my wife has done about 1150 km on hers.

Both of our bikes have same problem - very hard to start the bikes crank and crank but never fires when it does they both die straight away but they both will start the 2nd time we press the start button again the engine tries to crank and crank again.

Weird? The stealership said this is normal :(

Just over 4000 miles on poor man's 1299. That mileage accrued going no defined place and completely avoiding UK rain as have another bike to get wet.
