How many miles have you clocked since getting your bike?

I've done about 6500 km on my S and my wife has done about 1150 km on hers.

Both of our bikes have same problem - very hard to start the bikes crank and crank but never fires when it does they both die straight away but they both will start the 2nd time we press the start button again the engine tries to crank and crank again.

Weird? The stealership said this is normal :(

Are you waiting long enough after you turned the key to ignition before you turn the motor?

24,000klm / 15,0000 miles on 2012 base 1199. Mainly highway. round trip to work can be 400klms sometimes....

22,000 kms, 2013 1199S. I ride 3 or 4 times a week and live at the top of a range, always fun to go anywhere, I only got two months out of my last set of Pirellis.

JonT hi , yes I've shredded a few sets of Pirelli's, I'm actually going to try the Metzeler Z7 RR , a lot of good reviews about these

Yeah, I may have to look at sometinhg else as well although I do like the Pirellis, good grip straight away so I am a little loathe to go to something unknown.

I agree the Pirelli's are great and I've been also using the Rosso Corsas during the winter months.
I already know a friend with a 1299 that has them as well as other riding mates doing the same rides with those Z7RR ...I will let you know how I go and what I reckon ...getting them next week [emoji106]

That would be great Steve, thanks mate.

Just over 4000 miles on poor man's 1299. That mileage accrued going no defined place and completely avoiding UK rain as have another bike to get wet.

1299 is not a poor man's panigale - it's designed for the streets and in some other countries the 1299 is a rich man's bike :)

Mm I own the poor mans panegale' I don't like carbon as a finish, I don't like cables from my shoks, .....from what I recal before swiping one of my loyalty cards from a local hookers establishment to get the poor mans Pani, is that they all have the same prime mover?

Bought in July 2015, ex demo with 675 miles on it. Now has 3570 on it. The bike is stored 300 miles away from where I live at the mo due to circumstances. I have only been able to ride it when I have been on leave. Hopefully next year this will change!

What did I mis ?....pass me the salt as I short shift my 570 ( the poor mans McLaren) into 3rd on my way to the waterfront to do my daily milf watching

Guys who elevate their status because they have Carbon front mudguard over my bike cN just ... off....mine is paid for and I'm not sure if I had an S or a R or any other warriant my out look would differ,......I let guys into a lane who drive toyotas I engage positivly with enthusiasm guys who work on bikes and who have passion, it has ... all to do with what status my ride my bring.....now I no why I don't care for clubs.......

Yours truly ...

Ps I had my last Carbon car sprayed because I just dislike Carbon :)

Mate, you need to calm down a bit, I'm fairly certain that comment was meant a bit toungue in cheek, no-one thinks that any model Panigale is a "poor mans" model, it's just a back handed reference to the base, perhaps the inverted commas would have made it a litle more obvious. The joys of international language nuances, we all speak english but but read things very differently sometimes......Enjoy the hookers and McLaren.
