How many of you have changed from the stock seat?

well mine is mostly ridden on the streets, but nice to go on the track some to be able to wind it out in safer environment. It's really tough to ride this close to the legal speed limit on the street.

I've the DP Comfort Seat already installed before I picked up my Panigale it went higher by couple inches, I'm not tall and I've to land on my toe tip... I guess I will have to put some heels in my shoes
 
I have the race seat and it was one of the first upgrades before taking delivery of the bike.....I must say that I do feel like like I am certainly up higher on the bike than the stock seat (6", 180 lbs). Cheers!
 
I am ordering the comfort seat next week. to me it just looks better than the race.
 
check out these custom race seats from Italy. I hate when websites tell me to call for price though. Makes me look elsewhere but these are real nice seats to set you apart with nice 1199 embroidery

Does anyone know what the fabric is called on the DP Race seat? I want to wrap the stock seat in that material to keep the original height but want the better grip.

I was actually thinking that today. since i'm happy with the height of the regular seat I might just need a re-wrapping. the seats are way too expensive but I may end up having to pay the price and get the race seat. its not even much to look at. wish it had embroidery or something for that price you're paying
 
Race seat is so much more comfortable than the stock seat!

Think it also doubles as insulation from the heat. I've noticed since getting the seat the heat from the exhaust isn't anywhere near as bad as it was.

Comfort seat here. Sticks to your bum. Would be perfect if it was lowered but still the most needed upgrade for the Pani.
 
I got my comfort seat installed the other day and rode around for literally 10 minutes just to give it a quick test. I was a little disappointed. I hope I get used to it.

Im 6'1 so touching the ground isn't an issue, but the seat is too flat topped. I feel like Im sitting on a perch. It really seems to press into the insides of my thighs quite a bit and Im upset that it doesn't slope toward the tank at all. Like I said, it's literally flat on top.

Anyone else feel the same way? It feels way squishier to touch it too than it actually is sitting on it. I found it rather firm. Definitely a nicer (and less slippery than stock seat) feeling, but I definitely think it's going to take some getting used to.
 
Have the Race seat and a re-covered stocker which I seem to prefer given its lower profile.

 
+10,000,0000,000 for the comfort seat. Looks sexy as hell and I couldn't ride more than an hour on the stock seat! That thing is ridiculous.

Did you hate it for a bit tho, like the first few times you rode?

I really questioned mine so I just ordered a race seat to compare.
