Think back to when you first got your Panigale. What was the first thing you decided to add to your bike?

*Im guessing first thing to go was that monstrosity of a license plate bracket / rear turn signal assembly.

Now think of it as you being the owner of a store that has the ability to carry every possible aftermarket (and DP) performance part imaginable. What would you want to carry as an "in stock" item for all those with the same bike wanting it right away as an in demand item?

Go ahead and select the first item which you purchased for your bike as a mod and use the above thought process as a guide - what item should a shop have plenty of for us 1199 folks?

As stated above, if everyone felt it was the fender eliminator assembly then I guess you could roll with the second item. (I made it to permit two choices)

**If there was something not on this list then feel free to list it in your comments. We have all had to wait for something to be shipped from the manufacturer to our distributor of choice, so I was just curious here.

IMHO, the MUSTS are either the race or comfort seat, the fender eliminator/tail tidy and the Evotech lower radiator guard. Everything else is nice and you'd sell plenty of them (esp shock guards and clutch covers), but I think the seat and tail go first for most people. I have some pics of my SF lower radiator that you can show people that are on the fence about the lower radiator guard. That should sell plenty of them. :)

Damn

Didnt even think of the radiator guards Capt! Tried going back to add that as a choice and it wont let me. Thanks!

My apologies... I selected a few things as first items.

I hope this doesn't throw your research out too far.

first thing for me was the tail tidy, a day later the seat

the rest of it started coming soon after, but those were the "Must Change" items

yeah ok

This has kinda been done, you may want to reveiw this thread. The brand is as important as the mod. i.e., which tail tidy...

Saw it and did not want to "reveiw" it thanks.

"In Order, What upgrades to buy?
Ok, I already have the comfort seat and dont want to spend money on pipes, so as far as CF, what order do you think i should start buying for my base 2013? I just ordered the lower CF radiator cover, gonna have to buy piece by piece, not sure what i should get next, im thinking about the CF key hole cover, but then not sure how it will look before i get the $400+ air vent CF.... Suggestions? "

The seat was the first thing I told them to put on before it even left the dealership. Tail Tiddy was just another added extra. I would say a close second would be the exhaust but this is just me here, the stock sounds damned sexy compared to what my stock 848 sounded like.

I'm just a noob but foot pegs were first on my list (Rizoma), then a CF hugger. (Bestem). Couldn't stand looking at that huge piece of plastic back there.

bestem??

Curious. Did you already purchase your hugger?
If so you should DEF look to Shift Tech for all future purchases! Most especially the air ducts which fit flawless! Best stuff out there without bleeding you out on costs either!

Yes already installed, about $160 delivered.

Oh yeah !

Oh yeah the stuff from Hong Kong with no contact method other than email and no website either. My friend and fellow member here Mark419 got a bunch of stuff from them and said it was really good quality and cheap as dirt too! Good deal. I will stick with someone I can talk with, obtain it fast, and be able to return it without any issue if its jacked up.

As I said. Guido from Shift Tech is by far the nicest and informative guy I ever met who returns emails and calls within 15 minutes, and produces some of the nicest carbon I've ever seen! I will deal with him for his customer service alone he is so good! I have effectively highjacked my own thread! lol
