I definitely want this! I'm planning on ordering but just have one question... Does the CW LTD FE have a plate light? Or is the Standard the only option with a plate light by CW?

My other concern about the LTD is will it for with the passenger pegs and the new heat shield? I've been searching for these answers but haven't had any luck finding an answer.

Yes CW comes with everything you need, however my recommendation is if you have passenger pegs, the better spot is with the STND kit. pass pegs are a pain to remove the rear plastics never mind adding in a plate bracket and new heat shield, BUT this is just my opinion.

I appreciate the info. I'm curious how much of a pain it will be because I'm just not a fan of the Standard kit. Hopefully I'll get the light in before the heat shield. That way the dealership can deal with that dilemma lol.

i think there is more involved than you realize, your alternative solution remove the pass pegs. You might not have the clearance you need with the pegs and the ltd kit, never mind the new heat shield.

Well removing the rear pegs isn't really an option. The other half loves riding. I'm assuming nobody has the new heat shield with the LTD already?

If the LTD is an option due to fitting I guess I'll stick with my current FE.

I am very interested in purchasing one of these modified tail lights, however I would like to know if removing/not having front turn signals will affect either the flash rate or the overall operation of this light.

Lights functions will not be affected but flash rate will be high without the front signals connected..just as it would using the stock rear signals only... Not sure why you wouldnt have front signals????

I'm purchasing an "R" model...which comes with mirror eliminators/block off plates, and....I'm planning on using them!
