that is terrible man im so sorry. i had a kid on a motard hit me and break my foot in 3 places when he came into a turn too hot and couldnt hold his line. i stayed up and he didnt but it could have been so much worse. 2 more inches and our bikes would have collided much worse rather than just rip my foot and pegs off the side. again, im so sorry for you and your friend Lloyd. thats just horrible.
sad video but it could be used for educational purposes and think it's great how the person spoke to those teens in the car who were driving recklessly as most of us would of just screamed and shouted at them.

When we hot road on the roads, we head out in the mountains with no traffic.
Most of the time, anyway.

makes perfect sense. i would beat my own ... too. its just unfortunate that sometimes as we learn and learn throughout life, some people dont get to look back at just how lucky they were that they didnt hurt someone with their ........ actions like the kid in the wrong lane. i ride pretty aggressively but im always in my own lane and i do my best to make sure if i wreck im not going to affect the others on the road. i.e, i leave plenty of space for others to react. certain things you just cant chance by pushing the limits like that on a public road. regardless thats just terrible. did the kid in the wrong lane just come in too hot to the turn and couldnt stay in his lane?? awful.

There's a road out to the Croatian coast from Slovenia, I rode a couple of times last year and how many time Ljubljana reg cars cutting the corners and many times I had to pull up for risk of decapitation!
Worse out here is there are always on the phone, outside lane when the inside is empty and the best is they love to text!

this is the very reason i loose my cool, is because of people who think its ok to have fun at OUR expense. Just like the dude said in the video " you can have fun, i can have fun just stay in your lane people die from stupid driving" then he was smiling like no big deal.... i would of got off the bike and ask if i beat you down is it still funny?

you cant see that bikes speed in the video, I would turn it in to the police. They may grab him for wreckless driving. Maybe it wont be so funny then. Just find the right one, maybe one that rides, and explain you tried talking to him, he laughed you off and you watched as he nearly killed himself, his friends and someone else. Would have to be the right officer but I could see it happening.

Physics doesn't work that way. Still not good to run into anything at 50 mph, but it's not double the force. It's the same force.

there is an exponential increase in the force of impact with greater speeds. hitting a wall at 20mph vs 10mph is 4x the force of impact i believe...hey im not a scientist but its something like that lol.

What turnone is saying is that a 50mph + 50mph head-on collision is not equivalent to running into a static object at 100mph. It's still just a 50mph impact, contrary to popular myth. i.e. the fact that the other rider hits him head-on does not increase the force of the impact.
