I have an 1199r in the sterling area and would like to get together with other in the area for rides or hangouts.

As I have quickly learned, people dont really get together all that often around here :cool:. My bike is at Ducpond right now but when it gets back maybe we good hook up for a ride. I have been trying to do a day of RT50 out of Winchester. Hear its an awesome ride.
 
We just need somebody to organize something. Send out a date and time to meet, etc. Problem is, nobody does it. :)

Okay, all Joking aside. Lets try for Saturday 7/20 . We can meet in Leesburg off RT-7 this gets guys away form the congestion of NOVA/DC. Then if guys are up for it we could take RT-7 west to Winchester and pick up RT-50 (gorgeous mountain roads).

Are you thinking of heading out toward Mt. Storm? That's like 150 miles from me.

Really not sure. I was thinking about doing like 60-80 miles and heading back. I dont know much about RT-50 but I didnt want to do a longer ride alone.
 
What are the mirrors that you both have? I had a pair of crg arrows on my last bike and was thinking of getting them on this one.
 
Just passed someone posing...er, riding through Georgetown on a primered 1199. :D

Anybody here?
