We only met once so your group is probably waaaay more organized/established than we were. I'm up for a meet - just post it up and let's see how many people we can get out.
 
BurnCycle and I know just about every back road west of DC.

I'm at the track this weekend, but maybe something around June 7th.

We ride a spirited pace. No stunts, no egos, just good times.

I typically trailer up to Amissville. BurnCycle lives just outside of DC. He could suggest a meeting spot closer to him, and I could meet the group closer to the mountains.

Haha I wouldn't say that, so far I've just made the thread and gotten some interest over at the other site. I'll definitely be willing to do the leg work and check in with you all for updates! I'm gonna try to make it a weekly or every other week event so we can actually get some activities going
 
Very cool..between you two guys something might actually happen this time around besides me, Gunny and Russell sipping coffee. :)
 
Thats my drawback. If I don't have my wife at home to stay with Russell I cannot ride there, and must bring Russell in my truck. Not a huge issue but no bling from Tri. :)
 
If its just a meeting place then Cars and Coffee every Saturday morning (from some ungodly hour to 9am). I have to head to work after them but if sipping coffee is your thing...

I'm either on the PS or Pani when I go unless we have a company car they want me to show off.

Unless organized my Sundays rides are just a quick 90 mile (for me, I live out in the Gainsville/Manassas area) shot done earlier rather than later (not ungodly early) so I don't get any slack from the wife. The Sheetz at 55/15 is typically a good meeting point. If you want I'll post up if I know when I'm heading out.

Jay, its been way to long. We better get something planed soon. I no longer have a core group of riders and it sucks.

That sounds similar to what I have been doing. Heading out around 8 or 8:30 and then doing about 100 miles give or take west of town and then getting home around lunch. I try to do it both Sat and Sun if I can swing it.

Backroads up to Sperryville, and brunch on the other side of the mountain at Brookside.

Brookside Restaurant near Shenandoah National Park in Luray, VA

After some food I plan on heading back across the mountain, and doing backroads over to Crozet. Figure a 250 mile day if you do the full route.

Everything is dependant on the weather. I'll be hauling up Saturday morning at the crack of dawn.

Bernie I'll of course drag Bill along.

I get tired DRIVING that far let alone comprehend how you do that in a day! VERY admirable and jealous! :) I still can't believe my Tri is still on stands under cover in garage! hahaha. Oh the joys of getting old and disabled! lmfao!

Gunny the route to Brookside and directly back is half that.

At the end of the day I have a 5 hour haul back to NC.

Yep, my family lives up there. That was huge reason why I left Florida. My parents are getting old. I wanted to be close, but not to close. It's worth the 4-5 hour haul to unload the bike and ride those roads. I get to see them, and play hooligan.

Very rarely do people ride the roads we ride Southeast of DC. We never posted our routes for a reason. It was invite only.

I try to always get to cars and coffee when it's nice. I won't be able to get there tomorrow but the next weekend I will be. I bring a crazy loud white and red 848evo. I was out there a week or two ago. We can do that in the future for a meet but I would really like to start a bike only thing. That meet is pretty well dominated by cars and runs the bikes away. I would be good with occasional rides too, I love heading west for the hills

I've done some 300 mile days on my 848evo out through lurray and others out through West Virginia. It's very fun but can be tough on the buttocks. I usually turn around from West Virginia when they stop accepting cards and only cash because I worry how old the fuel is sitting in those stations lol. Can't get changed too often
 
Cars and Coffee was pretty cool this morning... So much eye candy.

I was on the Smart since it hadn't stretched its legs in so long. Stretched them a little to far and ended up with a reckless ticket... Damnit

One 1199 was there but why oh why did you park with the BMW's when a Monster, Multi GS and my Smart were just a little further down. lol

June 8th... Got it.
