Amen bro - I avoid MD and DC as much as I can too. Another spotting (maybe we need a spottings thread?) earlier this week at Equinox in Tyson's Corner. This one was the standard ugly red color though.
 
I should have my bike back within another week or so. I'm from eastern NJ but wouldn't object to a ride down by y'all during a weekend :)

Good luck - we're all following the threads. I know how annoying bike issues can be. I lost my SF for a month due to an oil leak, but luckily I had the Pani to ride. I think you really need two with a Duc in the stable. One to ride and one to wrench on. :)
 
Thoughts on Arlington Meet

Ok Captain. What did we decide on a meeting at our Starbucks at the Virginia Square Metro / Starbucks man? Was it weeknight or weekend? My Tri is all together and ready to be seen in public now. Will be meeting up with the photographer soon in Old Town Alexandria for photo ops when he gives me the green light, meanwhile lets start looking at a date.

Lets hear from those who are in NOVA area for this. Good location to hang out, unless another venue is vetted for this. I guess a Sat eve would be cool. What say you guys?
 
I'm game for whatever works for the group. If we get a big turnout we can pick a location with more bike parking, but that location worked pretty well last time since it is pretty central to the area.
 
So ... I still have the plates on the Bike ( for now). Lets drink some latte lol
 
lol...we tried to do it last weekend when Mark rode down but it rained so they had a coolant changing party instead. :)
 
I rode the bike up to summit and watched some Ferrari's very timidly do main track and then did some gokarts. Maybe next time.

Did my first track day at summit 7/22. Bike sure does get some attention thats for sure.

Hey Captain - what say you about getting out some weeknight, or even better on a Sat or Sun for just a couple hours and meeting up to shoot the breeze and catch up with each other?

I can NOT go for one of those day long rips out into WV or anything and only do a few hours regardless of where it is we choose this time. If you can think of a venue other than that Starbucks at Virginia Square thats fine with me, but lets put some thought into it a bit. Hell, maybe even Coleman's parking lot in either location, but no fancy coffee and drinks - not to mention nice sights- at either of those! :eek:

Just an open thought. Hell, I have not even ridden at all this spring! LMFAO!

This is timely! I am actually dropping my Pani off at Coleman FC tonight for new tires and hopefully they can get my leaking valve cover sorted. Maybe when they finish her up we can meet up and go for a ride around town? I've been heading out west in the mornings on Sat and Sun - usually Middleburg, Aldie, etc. but am game for anything.
 
I was supposed to be heading to the Gap this week, but a cold front is moving in. Instead I'm going to head to my Dad's place just out of Warrenton most likely. I'll probably head up Wednesday. Anyone interested in riding back roads let me know via PM.:D

Gunny, let me know if you and CF plan on meeting up. I'd love to swing by and catch up! Hell or even swing by with some good IPAs!
 
Hey everyone, I am trying to start a Ducati meet with ducati.org and I noticed that you guys already have one going thanks to Gunny. Are you guys still meeting regularly? If so do you guys mind that we join you?
