My 2022 Ducati Panigale V4S is Finally Ready for the Track

If you're into data on your laptop, it's OK. I've had a few issues with the Ducati GPS losing signal, and also, it only records four sessions. So, needs to be cleared frequently.
It's OK as a freeby, but I wouldn't buy it.
Is this from the R or the '22? I'm pretty sure it logs more on my '22! The most I've had without clearing it is 13 runs, and still not full, not not too many laps each run though

I’m definately at the point where I’d like seeing some basic data, lean angle, brake usage entering and corner throttle usage exiting etc.

Also how closely can these setups track your line?

I’m having moments of good riding and moments not so good, so developing consistency is a focus now, data would help fine tune and develop consistency
Pretty accurate tracking, but it cant show brake usage unfortunately...
This is seven laps stacked, quite easy to see if you use another line

Nothing out there beats the AIM solo 2 DL for the price as far as I know.

Although it’s not cheap especially with their camera, I don’t think there’s a better option tbh.

I have the solo 2 DL

It is only a bit more money than DDA+ but it has way more functionality, you can store several years worth of dataand you can swap it between bikes, cars, etc.

I don’t see why anybody would choose DDA+ over the AIM unless they were getting DDA+ for free or heavily discounted

Doesn't the DDA just mount under the seat? Not having to run wires or have an external device? Maybe worth the tradeoffs depending on your use case scenario.

So, I just received my DDA kit including GPS module. In total I received 9 parts. Of course, they came with no instructions or diagram. Hope it's not too messy of an install.

Love the block offs! Gloss black looks the business for sure! Was that hard to do? Would it be worth switching from track to street, and back again?

A lot of the mini looms in that package are not required for your 22 bike. Did you get the instructions?

Surprisingly straightforward.
Step 1: remove headlight fairing (will need to remove belly pan and both side fairings first)
Step 2: remove two bolts fastening headlight assembly to frame.
Step 3: wiggle the headlight unit free and unplug cable
Step 4: remove 4 small black torx screws fastening top shroud to headlight assembly and transfer shroud to block off using same 4 screws and pre drilled holes.
Step 5: plug cable into block off and fasten block off to frame using OEM screws
Step 6: reattach headlight fairings and side/bottom fairings.

Will reattach the OEM headlights if/when I trade it back in or sell it to someone who needs street trim.

Correction to Step 1: Need not remove belly pan and side fairings. Just the black inner cowling on both sides.

Thanks for your post. Just to make sure I have it right, nothing goes into the diagnostic port? Wire 10 goes to the GPS unit (1) and to the DDA (7). Wire 9 goes to 10. After this, there's one open plug from 9, which plugs into one of the tail light wires?
This might clarify..what you need dont need on a 22!

Yep 9 is just an extension for you loom in reality it’s a bit long and you end up tucking it away in different corners to lose it I also fed it down through the rear brake side of the dda bracket through the subframe and around to the loom it’s a bigger hole and you lose a bit more cable.

I found it really difficult to remove headlight and replace with the blank with the side fairings in situ. I loosened the top fasters off completely from each side fairing and created enough space by pulling them outwards, but still a ball ache.
2020 model.
