Thanks, I bought the GPS timer. Its legit! You only have to hit the start button the very first time...after that it does everything by itself. My dash says I was going faster than 180 but who knows. Also, the lean angle does not take into consideration how banked the turn is. On my V2 I hit 60 degrees of lean at Streets of willow in California. There is a turn that is so cambered they call it a bowl. I am guessing that this is where 60deg was possible on that bike.
The Yaw is the alignment between front and back wheels, hence backing it in! Super fun. I thought it was worth the upgrade.
So I tried this for the first time at ECR last week. It seems you have to hit the high beam to start the lap timer, once for each session, right? Because if you go back to the pit and turn off the bike to wait for the next session, everything shuts down. Then, in the next session, when you cross the start/finish line in your out lap, you have to hit the high beam again to get the lap time rolling. Is that what you do? Or can you start the lap timer each time you start the bike at the paddock before you enter the track?

With mine, you set the start/finish and intermediate sectors once, and it automatically starts when you exit pitlane for every subsequent session at that track (as long as you don't overwrite the set points at another circuit)

Grazie! "Upon each key-on, when the LAP function is activated..." Are you doing anything special to "activate" the LAP function, or is it just a matter of waiting for the GPS symbol to stop flashing, showing that it has acquired the GPS signal?
How do you set the intermediate sectors?
Sounds stupid, but ensure the lap timer function is turned on in the menu system.
Set the start/finish, by single press of flash/high beam button.
At first intermediate (i1), after start/finish, press and hold flash button until the '1' (in a box) flashes under the chequered flag (start/finish) icon on the dash.
First intermediate now set.
The next time you press and hold the flash button, i2 will be set.
The points can be overwritten by following the same process.

I bumped it up to TC4.
Good to know. I would've thought TC4 would be too intrusive on corner exit but clearly that's not the case given your lap times at COTA.
