Hi ,
Last weekend after long time I got my v4s and went straight on track MISANO. When changed the tyres to SC1 and made a tyre calibration , on the exit corner No8 Quercia , 3rd gear Full gas ( Race mode ) , the bike got a DTC error and all became red ...( ABS , DES etc )
I dont want to enter to details but since you are track rider as well the EV02 will short this problems ??
As I understand is slide issue and power

It's actually a problem with the sensor becoming hot. It can be solved with a phenolic (or other heat barrier) spacer per this thread
http://ducatiforum.com/ducati-v4/39...ear-position-sensor-dqs-ducati-v4-2018-a.html

Hope this helps. Let us know, preferably in both threads.

Hi , No possible is flashing when riding after staying the engine signal only. Then got all the electronics red bottom right .

Regarding my issue , a quick update.
On the diagnostic data recovery the workshop had found the following
1. On all the options at race mode
2. on Sport mode as well
The rear sensor was not reading ( 0 zero value ) always on 3rd gear from 5000 rpms till 8000 rpms. ( As I had given description )
The bike on straight was lighting the warning signal BUT in combination with the leaning angle of the bike on the turn 0 Km + Deg = DTC error and all went off.

The replace the sensor ( actually was on small cable broken inside the wire of the sensor )
Now , I had to test it on track..
Keep you posted

Good morning ,
Yesterday a quick test at Mugello .
All ok guys.. no more DTC error , the problem was on the sensor wiring .
All working perfect. This week the EVO 2 will be installed as well.:)

We are looking forward to hearing from you about the EVO 2 FEELING

In case you are interested in the EVO 1 behaviour in Mugello

you can have a look at one of my laps

BTW Even if I was not the quicker around( 5 riders were training for the Italian Championship that would have been there a week later),
I was the fastest on the main straight
300+ kmh on the circuit speed trap

yeah :)

Ciao, Can you share the settings( DTC ect ) and gearing ??

Of course.
As soon as I get back to Italy,I will be 100%precise about DTC,
but I remember :

15/38 gearing

ENGINE HIGH

DSC 1

EBC 2

DQS UP/DOWN

ABS RACE FRONT ONLY

DTC 2 could be 1

DWC 1

DES not installed as it is a BASE model

Of course.

Talked to Ducati Racing mechanic this weekend at Aragon, he was saying to turn DSC off, as it's well developed on the evo1 and bike is not really sliding.

Bike was more stable with DSC off and DTC at 1.

I had that issue few times so far...so lucky...NOT.
Obviously these bike are heavily dependent on electronics and feedback.
I had that light come on from the front wheels speed sensor and rear wheel speed sensor. Definitely, have spares of these parts. Check the cables and the sensor. Replaced my sensor and bike back to normal.
Also, I had issues with the gear shift sensor, went bad on me and the bike had all crazy errors. Replaced it and bike back to normal

Got to test the evo2 for the first time at Jerez this weekends. Weather wasn’t the greatest.
I can say overall, I can definitely notice an improvement in stability of the bike coming out the corner. Before I had some wobble esp in 3rd gear coming out of long corners full gas.
This is a good upgrade for track riders, not much benefit for the street.
Electronics is a huge part of these bikes and thus an upgrade to these aspects would mean an improvement in bike performance overall.
Scott Redding, BSB 2019 Champion and Ducati Aruba WSBK rider, rode my bike and said no issues but we didn’t dive too much into the whole Evo2 update. He did ride it at some point with no electronics at all, and destroyed the rear tyre in 6 laps.
