They are for the 2025 Panigale.
Are you trying to make a point @andyb ?
what in a thread about the new panigale...
I was going to do an impression of thick.......but you beat me to it.
Stated because he said he has a V4R... smart arse.
Ducati have turned into even bigger greedy twats .. to come up with road rearsets race rearsets both at silly money … there will be better stuff available at better prices.
They are for the 2025 Panigale.
Understood that... but, say a feller was looking for a high quality set of rear sets, would it be possible that they manufactured sets for prior years that aren't as ugly?
And recomendations on race/track adjustable rear sets would be appreciated (non-folding)
Off thread topic but here ya go- for the 2024 and before V4 series bikes (they can require some fitting)Understood that... but, say a feller was looking for a high quality set of rear sets, would it be possible that they manufactured sets for prior years that aren't as ugly?

Thank you for risking the integrity of this fine forum to answer a quick question .
We know how steadfast the members are in remaining on topic and not digressing off topic, or making personal comments, etc...
You’ve only been here one day!
A metric day... that should impress you.
So some annoying things in ordering this bike.
1st, as Spooky says you can’t elect the DVAC Race Pro software without the $8500 exhaust, however the race silencers option says it has a dedicated map, so need to understand exactly what’s in that…if it essentially has the same control functions without the ‘race’ screen configuration that’s cool, but can’t tell from the wording on the post.

2nd issue is that the standard rearsets look like they suck balls, and the upgraded ones don’t look as good as some aftermarket ones that are likely to come out like Attack Performance etc. but they are absurdly priced at $1800 or $1600. The main issue though, is that if you look at the pics, each type of rearset with each type of exhaust looks to be using a different rear brake MC configuration…which will became a big barrier to entry for aftermarket rearsets for the bike.

None of that is a deal breaker, but kind of a concern point.
Especially the rearsets, as it will increase the R&D time for aftermarket stuff, which means you either have to pay $1800 for just average quality rearsets from Ducati, or run the really crappy ones until better after market stuff comes out, which could be awhile.
I need to find out if that wiz bang rear brake electronic system is programmed different based on the rear brake MC that comes with the rear set selection you make. Because on the surface there appears to be a POSSIBILITY that you ONLY get the best electronics setup as IF you get the full race exhaust $8500, with the full race rearsets $1800, and the DVAC Race Pro electronics suite $850. I did confirm that you get the rear brake stuff with the V4 base suspension, but I need clarification on EXACTLY what you get electronically with the different exhaust and rearset combos…because the auto rear brake function is cool but is it still cool if you have to spend an extra $13,000 to get that one functionality (includes labor cost for exhaust install)

Steven I think the standard rearsets will be fine for a while, there will be plenty of options by the time the bike is released. I like the standard ones on both the twin and the 4, they are high quality castings, very light and well positioned (for me anyway) the problem is that they are useless in a crash, are non adjustable and have pivot pins that seem to get sloppy. The pegs are reasonably grippy when new but wear reasonably quickly and if I didn't already rush in and get three sets of aftermarket's when I bought the bike, I'd just buy everyone's cast offs for peanuts and burn through them!
What seems to be a bit of a wallet .... is the need to buy a full system to unlock the race features, slip on's are all I'd go for now since having the full system- a few reasons, the gains don't seem so be value for money and I quite like the low pipes for a bit less vulnerability in a crash and the clean look.
