New uk diavel strada or standard?

Hi guys,

Trying to decide between a brand new, but heavily discounted 2013 Strada or a much cheaper 2011 standard model.

Have tried a dark 2014 and loved it. Getting rid my zx6r... I'm just too old for it now and the diavel felt fabulous.

I like the extras on the strada.

Is the factory warranty worth having?

Is it worth paying a little extra for the last of the old model but new?

Will a strada hold it's value better?

Any thoughts?

Well, I pushed the button on the Strada... Waiting for some nice weather to collect it.

The Strada is a great choice for day trips and going on longer rides. How's the weather over there now?

Will this be your first Ducati?

It depends on what you plan to do with it, if you still like a good blast and riding with your mates on B roads i'd buy the std, if you want to do trips away with your wife/g/f the strada with it's panniers and seat backrest will probably fit the bill better.
