I did a 240 miles road trip yesterday on the R and noticed some oil that was on the clutch cover. The bike currently has 7423 miles. There is more oil just chilling where the arrow point. I'm gonna ride it a bit more and see if it continues to leak. Get the 7500 mile service done while I'm at it right?

Oil leak

Probably valve cover leaking
Had it on my base
If your still under warranty
Also Check the front cilinder

So that when they replace the seals
Under warranty they can check your valve clearance

You may also want to check for oil along the gasket for the valve covers. My bike seems to leak oil along this interface regularly; it is a common occurrence among many bikes, particularly after track days when one uses the entire range of engine speeds (top end). Oil tends to blow everywhere; but if you find it along the gasket for either the front or rear cylinder, then that is likely the source.

If it's not dripping, it's not leaking. A little bit of oil weepage like that is fair IME. Might just be a new seal, not quite completely sealed yet.

They should check the valve covers at your 7500 service. No worries.

I'd clean it all very good, look up underneath and clean anything you can find. Then go ride 50-100 miles and see what you find so that you can pinpoint an exact location.

Oil leak

It is the Valve gasket, it has to be replace.
Don't worry it's all under Warranty
By the way that happened to me as well

Sad news gents... Rear valve cover is leaking again... Took a long 300+ mile ride yesterday and noticed a small amount of oil build up along the engine case. You guys experience this? I'm starting to wonder if the front cylinder has this problem too..
