Question about Brembo RCS Master Cylinder for Brake and Clutch

No not at all just bringing to light that we are all bolting things on. Complaining hardly just pointing out the people that are spreading the negativity should just go. I'm just doing what others are allowed to do.

If you’re trying to drag the build thread drama into this thread, I’d humbly point out that the difference is mine doesn’t end with the bolt on stuff. There’s plenty of Corse parts, custom electronics, and one off Ti/carbon fiber pieces. Now, the adults are talking...

Alpine, the switch is simply zip tied under the MC. I really only kept it in the instance the bike stalls and I need to start it in gear. I tried to position it in a way where I can hit it while I have the clutch in. This was the lazy route and I need to wire it to the RH switches. I was going to use the third grey button for a rain light, but it would work well for the clutch switch.

As mentioned, the levers are Brembo low drags. The holes are break off points in the event of a spill. I had small one at COTA and that’s why the levers are different. I was going to replace it but decided to go ahead and upgrade to the GP billet unit instead.

Thats the brembo part just google "brembo rcs low drag lever" I think I have one if it fits your master I can send it to you.
Here it is.

Hi HKMP7,
Thanks for the picture.
I am familiar with that version, however, so far, I cannot find one that fit the "Corsa Corta" model

Hi Roque, thanks for the information.

I guess the only way is for me to buy the RCS16 Corsa Corta myself and see how I can mount the switch permanently with some adaptor bracket or even just carefully epoxy glue it.
I understand the ziptie works well and efficiently for your application, but my application is purely cosmetic so I can't use ziptie... well, I need to think about this more...

Thanks again

Do the RCS half levers fit the gp billet or are there shorty low drag levers available for gp billet?

If the application is purely cosmetic, personally I would opt for the GP master over the RCS. Not sure that the multitude of optional ratios that the RCS offers is of much value. With the XA7G7G0 you get the billet pump body and the Ti hardware. There are proven options out there for the switch applications for these masters as well. I am sure you would agree that the GP master is more in tune with the aesthetic value that you are striving for

Hi Endodoc,
I looked at that model yesterday after I saw it from the picture that Keith197 provide with the very nice gold color bolt and the red color brembo logo. Not to mention that beautiful darker grey body.
It is a perfect aesthetical solution and I am pretty sure (by looking at the picture) that I can fit my current Ducati by Rizoma brake lever (just the lever part).

However the price at around 1,500 Euro or $1,800 USD is too expensive for my purposes (at least for my current allocated budget), and if I buy this,
I will need to also upgrade the clutch lever with the similar level and then the caliper to a GP model because from my short research I also think it is not available for the 17 size so I believe a caliper upgrade is mandatory.
note: I saw Keith197 post again and it show 17 size so it is available in 17 size.... hmmmm... no, I need to be strong and resist the temptation :D

Hi Keith197,
based on my "visual" research of the pictures, I think the RCS low drag half lever should fit the GP Billet levers, it's only the RCS Corsa Corta lever that clearly looks different on the hinge design.
I could be wrong though...

So the 17 I believe in the billet version is the GP Pr17 EVO 17x18 part # XA7G755 yes and it is $2300.00 US. An alternative would be to use the standard billet masters and replace the steel hardware with the Ti. $600.00 and change for the masters plus the hardware. You get the billet body, folding lever and Ti hardware for 1/3 the cost

Great info and idea endodoc,
I need to do more research... Thanks again

Oh and in keeping with the theme of the bike, you are going to want to have the Ti carrier and T rear axle. I have a set in a box with your name on it. Stock axle on the left

Hi endodoc,
Those are very nice parts and thanks for the offer, but I am not planning to purchase the Ti carrier/axle since those are not really visible from the outside so my eyes cannot enjoy it :p
Not to mention they must cost a lot too, right?

I did already ordered the SITTA COMPLETE TRANSMISSION KIT RAPID FIX/quick change (should be coming together with the Brembo T-Drive hopefully next month) and I also already bought (and already arrived at my home) the EK 3D Gold Chain since I did not like the color of the chain that came with the SITTA kit. I also have AELLA Titanium bolt and cone set, plus AEM cone (in case I want to use gold color), plus AEM Titanium cush drive with titanium nut and AEM D-Sei Hub Flange.
all things that is visible :p

Not visual yes but do not discount the psychology of the build my friend. The psychological impact of large pieces of Titanium has an almost euphoric effect that is most powerful.

I don’t know if it is the same kit as the CD. I have only seen brake side solutions in this model except from a place in Japan. Trying to remember where I got that

I don't want to postpone longer worry that I got carried away and buy the GP version, so to prevent that,
I made up my mind, I choose the RCS17 and 16 CORSA CORTA and hoping some aftermarket company would supply the "aero lever" for CORSA CORTA model in the near future.
I also will change the bolt with the gold titanium from ProTi and have someone paint a "red" color on the "brembo" logo just like on the "launch picture" of the Corsa Corta.

I don't want the MotoCorse bolt on reservoir because upon reading further, it's manual warn to keep checking and tightening the bolt to make sure no oil leak... well that is not reassuring...
The last thing I need is to wake up in the morning with all my fairing ruined by brake fluid...

So, I found another solution,
I bought (PAID) a pair of Rizoma BS770B mirror mounting bracket about 1 hour ago here: Rizoma Mirror Mounting Bracket BS770B
I also about to buy the M10x1.25 to M8x1.25 to M6x1.00 thread insert so I can mount the bracket for my Ducati by Rizoma reservoir that I already purchased a few days ago.

But right before I order the RCS17 and 16 Corsa Corta, I stumbled into this webpage: 031720-Brembo-19-RCS-Corsa-Corta-IMG_8238 - Motorcycle.com
I look at the picture and the comment below the picture...

suddenly I realized... that All of the pictures in this thread that use the RCS or GP Master Cylinder, all of them also use aftermarket switches...
After comparing all those picture with the way the stock MC on my bike,

I finally understand that if I use the RCS17, and keep the current Ducati starter / engine kill switch, the lever will hit the housing of the throttle assy.
and there is not enough space to swap the Ducati starter / engine kill switch to the left of the Master Cylinder because the Corsa Corta nipple is on the left side...
The RCS16 clutch will not have problem though, but I don't want to have half CORSA CORTA only on the clutch side...

And for sure, I will NOT change my Ducati starter / engine kill switch to after market one, because I just don't like the looks of the aftermarket switches...

now, I just waste $100 for a pair of Rizoma BS770 mirror mounting bracket... hmmm well, maybe I can find a use for it...

Anyway, I guess, its just not mean to be and the positive things is, I learn something new again this past few days (with the help of many members of this forum of course).

Thanks everyone

You keep this up and next thing you know you will be buying small machine tools, and composite materials supply and doing your own thing. That’s how this stuff escalates. Like I said I use a button for the clutch. I think I have used it maybe 2x in the last year. On the brake side (I am using the billet masters on both) I run a pressure switch on the brake line. So I don’t have any switches on the masters at all. Not running a rear switch. I use the PS13 GP master in back
