Getting more miles on the bike and starting to shift at higher revs under more throttle. This morning the bike blew a shift from second to third at about 10,000 rpm. So on the up shift the throttle blip happened but no third, just stayed in second. Unpleasant is a good way to put being thrust against the tank. Has anyone else heard of or had this problem?

yes!
im having some serious issues with the quick shifter. My bike has barely 600 miles and all of a sudden the QS works like crap... it usually won’t shifts up from 4th gear .. it just get stuck there.
im very cranky about it.

Quick update...as miles add up the QS has become almost perfect. I would say issues were due mostly to break-in period.

I was thinking the same until it blew a 1-2 and 5-6 upshift on the track, and that is with GP shift so there's nothing soft about the movement on the lever. Hoping it improves or can be dialed in with a map change.

Interesting. I'm up to 3,000 miles (5,000 kms) and no issues at all now. Not track use though, so most shifts are under 10,000rpm. Over all the bike is perfect...

I wrote this in another thread, but,
"I don't know if this is unique to me, but, the quick shifter from 2 to 3 is stuck from time to time, even with RPMS in the middle, and very odd thing happened from 3 to 4 or from 4 to 5, I'll go into a 'false neutral' where the rpms will go very high, but no engagement of gear.

And in 1-2 quick shifting, I'll literally go into actual neutral.

Clutch shifting is fine.

What's the issue here, and what to do?

Thanks all!"

Your gonna have all these issues with the stock shift sensors they are horrible. A step up would be a Translogic unit and the ultimate setup is a true strain gauge unit such as the Cordona/Woolich.

Correct yes the Translogic units are not a strain guage. You will still have occasional problems but nothing as bad as the stock unit. Stock units are basically a micro switch.

Translogic isn’t a true strain gauge? I’m running it and still having problems.

Got a tip from my dealer today and haven't had a problem riding it all day. Throttle has to be fully open (can't be closed or even rolling closed) and once you got the upshift, there can't be any pressure on the upshifter or it won't finish the shift. Getting that combo right can be tricky but once I made a conscious effort super easier and never missed a gear.

Well guess that sums it all up looks like the dealer got it figured out. Vesparacer what do ya think???

What if you are exiting a turn rolling back into it and need to short shift to keep it from spinning or wheelie and it isn’t pinned yet???

Rolling on is fine. Rolling of is not according to the sales manager who races. Worked for me too.
