Anyone care to explain the raceseat attraction? Comfort? Body position? Performance?
I've been looking for millimeters of height reductions for my 24 V4R. Every option seems to add height. I thought that the raceseat would be ideal because I didn't see a lot of padding, but it lists + 5mm over OEM, and looks even wider than the stock seat. I will probably order the track seat from Ducati and then send off my stock seat to be stripped of the foam and the fabric re-stretched.
My prioritiy is Performance first, comfort last, but I willing to compromise if I can gain more height reduction. This is going to be a track bike with frame protection, but my anxiety goes through the roof during stops, starts, and tight maneuvering.
