:) yes that's the combo.

The Bluetooth transmitter (http://www.senabluetooth.com/downloads/datasheet/Datasheet_Sena_SM10.pdf hooks up to both the V1 and LI and this allows me to hear the audio alerts even with earplugs in using this helmet unit Sena Bluetooth. Both should be here later in the week. I like the fact that the helmet unit is small and light.

One of your earlier posts in the HUD thread plus a couple of other user comments got me thinking - I can now hear the alerts and don't have to be as concerned about visual alerts and HUD although still going to test the various products I ordered.

Should be able to test it all at the weekend.

Yea, I looked at that Bluetooth unit as well, but I am waiting for the V1->iPhone Bluetooth adapter coming out this spring. As I am already listening to my iPhone via Bluetooth/Sena, so this will alert through that without any added accessories. They already have an Android version. Did you look into this?

They have a bluetooth one setup for android for the V1? I would like to get this if you can PM me the info on it. I have a good setup to see it, but can't hear it with the wind noise and motor. Plus I can listen to my music while I hear it.

V1connection

I can't wait for the iPhone one. They even have a developers manual so you can write interfaces to the V1!

I was planning on doing this also but called V1 and talked to a lady and she said you won't be able to hear the sound via blue tooth which seems odd to me.

I had my guys add an audio out wire to a 3.5mm jack - which will plug into BT unit. Would be very surprised if I can't hear it! Will post back when I have tried.

No haven't done any research on the apps. If you hide the unit like you have then it would be cool because you can get all the visual info from your phone but still think its more useful to cars than bikes - who's got the time to ride and be reviewing detailed information on a phone screen?

I'm still really interested to see how well the Marc Parnse Visual Alert works. Might rig it up to my LI rather than the V1.

I've heard it works great. And now that I know the V1 won't do audio to my iPhone (stupid), I will be looking at alternatives, or stick with Cobra that does. The i200 just isn't the best detector in the world.

SM10? I was looking at that earlier - but V1 + Audio Adater + Sena = $600. I have the concealed dislay on my Beemer, but I guess the iPhone adapter will at least save me from buying it for the Pani.

so.. would you sell your i200?

Ye but my Valentine dealer opened up the V1 units box and fitted an audio out cable with a 3.5mm jack on it (soldered it to the speaker wires I believe), that comes out of the speaker hole. So I don't need the audio out adapter. That was pretty cool of them, and it took 5 mins while I was sitting in their office.

I can certainly do that, I just would be worried voiding the warranty, or preenting it from being upgraded later. I look at it tonight, and see if I can do it in a way it can be un-done! What kind of dealer do you have that is capable, I can't think of any of my vendors that could do that lol.

The guy that sold me the unit did the fix, not the ducati dealer

Really pleased with the Laser Interceptor, seems to work well.

The big issue for me is not police laser guns but the mobile rear facing poliscan cameras. The reality is that the LI will only give you early warning if it picks up splatter from the poliscan laser or its pointing towards you, in which case it isn't a threat to bikes.

So the key function is the jamming, and I can't 100% testify that this is effective yet but I passed a rear facing camera and got a warning just before I passed the camera so was able to scrub off a lot of speed but was still doing 110 in a 90kmh zone so I'll have to wait and see whether I get a ticket in the mail ;)

In your mind what is a GPS jammer and what can it do to help you? Only when you are in the situation that the GPS jammer is need you will understand how important and useful such kind of device is. Gaining more knowledge of the device? Just start and then you will have access to the best GPS jammer.
