Picked mine back up today, there is a noticeable difference in the fueling at low speed and in the mid range...loved it!..only 1 thing though my not so helpful man a ducati said they had uploaded 2 ECU upgrades the first one being the one which sorts out the fueling and mid range and the 2nd one ..well in his words "ive no idea what that one does but it said you needed it so we did it anyway" ....anybody care too enlighten me?

Maybe the new sprocket map. It's compatible with the 39t, as well,

I've got maybe 2000 miles or so on my new sprocket. Waiting to see if what he's downloading is the new map. I might move to the steel sprocket as the wear is obviously occurring faster.

Any problems with dqs? My dealer said it wouldn't work and also issues with dtc. They're installing it anyway today, but my trust is waning.

Got out on the track for the first time this past weekend with the revised map for the Termi full system, and it was a HUGE improvement over the original map! I can actually come out of a corner now at 5500 rpm and get a drive and have 5-6k of usable powerband to play with, rather than having to be at 7500+ like last year. On two of the fastest turns on this particular track I was able to stay a gear higher and use the midrange grunt like I used to on my 1198. I think it will help the rear tire wear also, not spinning up as much by having a smoother torque curve rather than the light switch being turned on at 7500 rpm like before. Very happy with it, it feels like it picked up 10+ HP through the midrange.

is there a way in the dash unit to see what map or software you are running? i just bought a brand new 2012 leftover and called my local duc dealer, they said it was flashed but i want to doublecheck.

Thanks

To my knowledge there isn't. Unless you have a secret decoder ring or something. The dealer has to connect their software and it lets them know if any updates are needed.

With the key on, engine not runnning, push the top control button up, press the bottom control button down, then press the left turn signal all at the same time for 5 seconds.

Trauma!!!

Anyway mine went in for its second new Dash yesterday and they said there wasn't any new map. So the sprocket map (if it exists) hasn't made it to Australia yet.

WAfatboy, the map does exist as my dealer already mentioned it, and to be specific it just changes the parameters for the traction control and nothing to do with the fuelling as some might suggest.

The extra drive they are feeling is the ratio change in the sprocket only, unless the up map available here at the end of last year had not yet been flashed on that individuals bike yet.

I'm getting mine done tomorrow with the dash (F) the fairing (LRS) and 41T sprocket upgrade! so I will get back to you with a local Aussie review then!:D

I look forward to you feedback Gav. I tried to make some enquiries with Ducati in Sydney but all denied knowledge of anything new.

Since you didn't specify who "they" are who you speculate are only feeling the ratio change in sprocket, I will specify that I was talking about the revised fueling map specifically, which I had not had a chance to try out until this past weekend at our first track event of the season. I rode all last year with a 41t sprocket already with the original (stock) fuel map.

Are you saying that there is a map specificly for the 41T upgrade? I was under the impression that the last map dated in Nov or Dec was the same one:confused:
