"oh boy im going to have fun with this one. what is it with you rossi drones do you facebook each other and join forums to defend your yellow hero who has won 0 since 09? i notice all you fan boys have like 10 posts. thats ok i will dispose of you quickly."
Well I didn't see any disposing, and a lot of assumptions from you.
"first things first 46 lost the 2015 world title it wasnt taken and 99 WON IT."
Technically, anybody not numbered 99 lost it, and only 99 won it. This is a factual statement, that I nobody refutes.
If, what you meant, is that 46 wasn't robbed of the title by unfair circumstances and 99 wasn't gifted a championship, then I agree, although it is overlooking some circumstances.
46, who earlier in his career had gotten into people's heads, had his mind games back fire. Jorge Lorenzo has always been ice cold under pressure and Marc Marquez is more than talented enough to fight back.
Valentino robbed himself, perhaps, when he made unfounded accusations against Marquez after Phillip Island. I don't doubt that after those statements that Marquez did slow Rossi down at Sepang nor do I doubt that he could have passed Lorenzo in Valencia. However, he wasn't mandated to do so, and given what Valentino had said about him, who can blame him.
That said, that year wasn't won or lost by Marquez. If Rossi would have pitted sooner in Misano under the rain, he may have had a better chance. Several times that season when Lorenzo was struggling people in front of him crashed. If Rossi would have passed Ianonne or Pedrosa he might have won.
I don't think its fair to say that Marquez alone "cost" Rossi the championship, but rather a myriad of factors lead to Lorenzo's victory. Did Marquez play a role in Sepang and Valencia.. I think so, but Rossi shares some of that responsibility for being the instigator. That's my opinion.
"Second if it wasnt for carmelo rossi wouldnt even be around right now. he brokered (made) the deal for yamaha resign him for 2013. i mean yamaha had the number 1 rider already (99) and number 2 rider was for sales. 99 has won half the world titles since 2010 not a bad recored."
People have people make deals for them. Moot point and not relative to anything in this discussion, and certainly not "disposing of somebody quick." Lorenzo was the man, and Rossi, while out of his prime is still an elite rider (or was at the time) and sells tons of merchandise.
Your assumption that Yamaha wouldn't be interested in Rossi if it wasn't for somebody brokering a deal means nothing to this discussion, doesn't prove (assumptions don't prove anything) anything relative to this discussion, and only shows that your bias against Rossi and his fans helps you draw opinions on things you cannot possibly no.
"Now lets scratch the 08 championship as that was the biggest bunch of bull around as 46 was the only rider to ride bridgestone. why? oh because crybaby wouldnt race if anyone had bridgstones but him."
That's not true, Pedrosa also ran Bridgestone at the end of the season and a few other riders. Rossi was the only Yamaha to run Bridgestone and did use his leverage to gain an advantage. However, I don't think you can claim this was the sole reason for his championship given that he repeated, and likely would have won again in 2011 if not for the season from hell.
The problem I have with your arguments is that you throw objectivity out the window in an effort to be "objective". It's a strange and transparent technique.
"27 gave him such a beating the year before that rossi had carmelo go to his trailer and gave him the ultimatum i quit if i dont have the advantage cause i cant win.
lets not talk about the honda years in early 2000."
Well we should talk about the Honda years, the fact that Rossi was the last non-factory rider to win a championship, and we should talk about the talented peers and rivals he beat. It's only fair to an objective discussion.
"Now we have topgun 25 who will be enemy number one."
Assumption, we will we see.
"its all nice in the paddock for now because there are no races going on. once 25 starts winning boo hoo will be back and 25 will be enemy number one. not 99, 93, 26, or 4."
Assumption, we will see.
" cant be called the number 2 rider even though he has been number 2 rider since 2010."
Biased assumption, given that Maverick isn't number 2 either, it seems that Yamaha has been honest about not having numerically positioned riders.
"for you my friend oh and its 7 times world champ"
Depends on how you are looking at it.
But most important, you have a guy that you were going to dispose off quickly, and all you offered was assumptions, and half-truths were you took it upon yourself to complete. The statement you supposedly disposed off was that somebody was a fan of a particular rider, who claimed him to be human and to make mistakes, and that he was excited for racing to start.
Since you both agree that he is human and makes mistakes, and since you are both (now I'm assuming) excited for racing to begin, so the only thing you seem to be asserting that you were going to disprove off is the fact this man has been a fan since 1996. You completely failed to do that, since you cannot prove whether or not he has been a fan that long.
Perhaps you thought you were going to dispose of him being a fan? However, I don't think a view biased claims, straw-man arguments, half-truths and assumptions are going to lead this guy away from being a fan after 20 years. Perhaps you overestimate how convincing you are?
