Search

hey man, not to slam ya here. But this question is found in MANY MANY threads on this forum and others. Use the "search" link to find answers to all your questions. You will hear every train of thought on this from every Ducati owner under the sun. All here know my thoughts on this and I have absolutely ZERO issues with the bike after doing it this way! Run it HARD AS HELL and use EVERY option on the bike to its fullest! You do it YOUR WAY and look at all the comments and take with grain of salt bro!

Congrats on getting the best bike on the planet and stay safe!

Food for thought on my way of doing it:

Break In Secrets--How To Break In New Motorcycle and Car Engines For More Power

To some degree gunny is right, I haven't been going stupid with mine but I certainly haven't babied it either. I've run right up and down the rev range in every gear and although I still have a few hundred kms till the first service, the bike feels a lot smoother and certainly more responsive compared with new.

Long story short, just ride it and enjoy it!
